Quick Reference Card
LUCAS 2 should only used by persons with basic medical
skills such as: first responders, ambulance personnel,
nurses, physicians, or medical staff who have completed a
CPR course according to the American Heart Association
or equivalent, and receive training in how to use LUCAS 2.
LUCAS 2 is contraindicated for patients who are too large
for the legs to lock and too small for the pressure pad in the
suction cup to make contact with the chest.
