5. When the display shows “0.0,” place a load on the scale pan to weigh. The weight value will be
locked in and flash 3 times before automatically shutting off. If there is no load on the scale pan
after the scale shows “0.0,” the scale will turn off automatically after 10 seconds.
WARNING!
1. The scale will be slippery when wet. Keep it dry!
2. This product can only be used by static pressure. Avoid damaging the unit by striking, shocking
or dropping it.
3. Keep the scale in horizontal position.
4. Intended for light-duty use; do not use for commercial purpose involving items heavier than 330
lbs.
5. Treat scale carefully. Do not drop it or jump on it.
MAINTENANCE:
1. Clean scale with a damp cloth but avoid getting water inside the scale. Do not use chemical
cleaning agents. The scale should not be soaked in water.
2. Keep your scale in a cool, dry place; do not expose the scale to heat or humidity.

Some examples of these chemicals are:
• lead from lead-based paints,
• crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products, and
• arsenic and chromium from chemically-treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your
exposure to these chemicals: work in a well ventilated area, and work with approved safety equipment,
such as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.
