Installation
- Turn off the PC.
- Remove plug from the mains power socket.
- Connect the PC and monitor to the UPS. (With the cables included in the box)
- Connect the UPS to the mains power socket. Use the original power cable of the pc.
- Connect the UPS to the pc, using the USB or serial cable.
- Turn the UPS on. (UPS will beep for confirmation)
- Turn the PC on.
(The UPS needs to charge for 14hours)
- Insert the CD in the PC.
- Run Setup.exe
- If windows shows the User Account Control warning, press ‘Yes’
- Install ‘Winpower’ software
- Serial number is: 511C1-01220-0100-478DF2A
- Choose the preferred installation directory.
- Read the Winpower manual.

Trouble Shooting
Symptom Possible Cause Remedy
Power cord is not properly
connected.
Check the power cord
Battery is empty Fully charge the battery (up to 14
hours)
LED Display is not working.
Battery defect
Contact the Trust helpdesk

Alarm buzzer beeps
continuously when AC supply is
normal.
Overload of the UPS (>600W) Reduce the load of the UPS
Overload of the UPS Reduce the load of the UPS Battery time is shorter each
time the power fails.
Battery Voltage is too low Charge the battery for 14hours or
more
Cable is not properly connected Check if the USB/RS232 cable is
firmly connected to the PC
Check the settings of the software
In the manual (located on the
CD)
Communication is lost between
UPS and PC.
(Device status: not connected)
Software is not installed well
Reinstall the software
Power cord is loose Reconnect the power cord
properly
Mains power is normal but LCD
display’s Battery mode.
Circuit breaker is broken Reset the circuit breaker. (see
section above)

Safety
This product contains sealed lead-acid battery(s).
This product may release toxic materials into the environment when not disposed properly.
This product must be recycled properly. Contact your local government.
Short circuit of the battery(s) may cause burns, fire or explosion.
Do not disassemble, puncture or expose to high temperatures. Acid and toxic materials might be released,
causing injury.
The sum of the leakage current of the UPS and its connected equipments must not exceed 3.5mA.
Do not open or repair this device.
Disconnect the power plug from the mains supply before cleaning the device.
Keep this device away from liquids, such as water.
Do not use this device in combination with non-computer related items, such as medical equipment,
microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners, etc.
Make sure the UPS is placed on a firm surface, such as your desk or the floor.
Always use the UPS with an earthed plug socket.
Do not connect a multiple socket to the UPS.
Never cover the UPS. (to avoid overheating) Keep the UPS out of the reach of heat sources, such as the sun,
heaters, etc.
The outputs may have a high voltage, even when the device is turned off.
Keep the UPS at least 20 cm from your monitor.
