HOW IT WORKS
Yourmotionactivatedoodlightsensesheatimagesfrom
objectssuchaspeople,largeanimalsandautomobileengines.
Whenmotionisdetected,thelightswillautomaticallyturn
on.Oncemotionhasstopped,thelightswillturnoffaftera
preselectedtimedelay.Yourmotionactivatedoodlightmay
alsobeusedasastandardoodlight.

TROUBLESHOOTING
MOUNTING AND WIRING YOUR FIXTURE
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect
power at fuse or circuit breaker before installing
or servicing.

theholesonyourjunctionbox.Usingeither(2)#6
screwsor(2)#8screws(D)(dependingonsizeof
theholesinyourjunctionbox),attachthemounting
bracket(H)toyourjunctionbox(Fig.3).
2. Threadxturewiresthroughcoverplategasket(B)
(Fig.4).
3. Connectxtureblackwiretohouseblackwire,
xturewhitewiretohousewhitewire,andcopper
coloredgroundwire(comingfromthexture
coverplate)tohousegroundwireusingwirenuts
(E)provided.
4. Attachxture(A)tothemountingbracket(H)using
thecenterbolt(G)provided.Besurenoloosewires
remainstickingoutfromunderneaththecoverplate.
Insertplasticcolor-matchedplug(F)incenterbolt
holefornishedappearance(Fig.5).
5. Applysiliconecaulkaroundtheedgesofthe
coverplatetoprovideawatertightsealfromrain
andmoisture.
6. Insertlampholdergaskets(C)intolampholder
assembly,tightlyagainstlampholder,andscrew
bulbsintoeachlampholder(Fig.6).(Donot
overtightenbulbs.)
7. Turnonpoweratmainfuse/breakerbox.
OPERATING YOUR FIXTURE
1. Moveslideswitchonbottomofthesensor
to“TEST”.Setsensitivityknobtomedium
(halfway)(Fig.7).
2. Turnonthepowertoxture.Allowxturetowarm
upapproximately40secondsbeforetesting.(Lights
maynotcomeonduringwarm-upperiod.)
3. Aimsensorheadtowarddesireddetectionarea,
maintaininga15°downangletoallowmoisture
todrain.
NOTE:Maintainairspacingbetweenlampsandsensor
head,atleast1in.Makesuresensorheadispositioned
withcontrolswitchesfacingtowardstheground.
4. Walkacrossthedetectionzoneatthefarthest
distanceyouwishyourdetectortodetectmotion.
5. Adjustsensitivityuntilyougetdesiredresults.Light
willturnoff4secondsafterallmotionstops.
NOTE:Formaximumrangeperformance,allowxture
tooperateinanymode(withpowertotheunit)forat
least48hours.
6. Moveslideswitchto4min.or12min.(AUTO
mode).AtdusklightswilloperateintheAUTO
setting.
