BUTTONS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS
LAP/RESET KEY
Time Mode: Turn ON/OFF key tone.
Lap/Split Recall Mode: Advance forward through records
Programming Mode: Accepts value being adjusted and advances to next setting.
Resets all Stop Watch data to zero (0) in Timing Modes.
RECALL KEY
Time, Alarm & Countdown Mode: Press & Hold to enter Programming Sequence.
In Programming Sequence: Exit Programming Sequence.
Lap/Split Mode: Press to enter Recall Mode.
MODE KEY
Operating Mode: Press to scroll through main operating modes.
Programming Sequence: Press to exit.
START/STOP KEY
Time Mode: Turn ON/OFF key tone.
Temperature Mode: Switch between Fahenheit & Celcsius temperature display.

Congratulations on your purchase of a Sportline Heat Sensor Stop Watch. Please
keep in mind your stop watch is a sensitive technical instrument. With proper care
and maintenance, it will last for many years. However, improper care and handling
can cause the various sensors to be damaged and to stop functioning.
HOW TO USE THIS MANUAL
Please read all sections of this manual carefully and become fully familiar with
the operation of the pedometer before using it in the field. Proper setup and op-
eration will greatly enhance the pedometer’s usefulness and your enjoyment. The
steps for the programming or operation are adjacent to the screen illustration.
Key points and important information are shown in highlighted blocks.

The Sportline Heat Sensor Stop Watch has 4 keys for operating and programming
located above the display, on the top edge of the unit: LAP/RESET, RECALL, MODE
and START/STOP.

MAIN OPERATING MODES
The Heat Sensor Stop Watch has 8 operating/display modes: Time/Date, Alarm, Tem-
perature and Humidity, Heat Index, Dew Point, Lap Mode, Split Mode and Countdown
Timer.

Scroll through modes by PRESSING the MODE key.
7- MEMORY RECALL
LAP/SPLIT MEMORY RECALL
1. In Lap or Split view and the timer stopped, PRESS the RECALL key.
2. Review fastest, slowest and average lap/split records by PRESSING the RECALL
key.
3. View individual lap/split records by PRESSING STOP/START (ascending order) or
LAP/RESET (descending order).
4. Stop timing by PRESSING the START/STOP key.
5. Return to timing modes by PRESSING the MODE or RECALL keys.

LAP VIEW
1. Scroll to Lap view by PRESSING the MODE key.
2. Start timing by PRESSING the START/STOP key.
3. Record a lap by PRESSING the LAP/SPLIT key. Note: Elapsed
time will be displayed in lower field. Last lap time will display in
upper field. Current lap number will be displayed in far left of
upper field in brackets.
4. Stop timing by PRESSING the START/STOP key.
5. View chronograph data by PRESSING the RECALL key (see next panel for detail). A
RECALL icon will be displayed on the left side of the screen.
6. Exit RECALL mode by PRESSING the MODE key.
7. Clear recorded time by PRESSING LAP/RESET with the Chrongraph stopped.
NOTE: You must have exited RECALL mode (PRESS MODE button) in order to reset the timer.
SPLIT VIEW
1. Scroll to Split view by PRESSING the MODE key.
2. Start timing by PRESSING the START/STOP key.
3. Record a split by PRESSING the LAP/SPLIT key. Note: Elapsed
time will be displayed in lower field. Last split time will display in
upper field. Current split number will be displayed in far left of
upper field in brackets.
4. Stop timing by PRESSING the START/STOP key.
5. View chronograph data by PRESSING the RECALL key (see next panel for detail). A
RECALL icon will be displayed on the left side of the screen.
6. Exit RECALL mode by PRESSING the MODE key.

AVOID getting the stop watch wet. This unit is water resistant, not water proof.
NEVER attempt to disassemble or service your unit.
DO NOT expose the unit to extreme heat, shocks, magnetic fields, electrical noise,
strong vibration or long-term exposure to direct sunlight.
DO NOT drop or step on the stop watch.
TO CLEAN the unit: wipe with a lightly moistened cloth. Apply mild soap to the
area if there are stubborn stains or marks. Do not expose the unit to strong
chemicals such as gasoline, cleaning solvents, acetone, alcohol, insect repellents,
as they may damage the unit’s seal, case and/or finish.
STORE the unit in a dry place when you are not using it.

13- REPLACING THE BATTERY12- CARE & MAINTENANCE
The Sportline Heat Sensor Stop Watch uses one CR2032 3V lithium battery.
Battery replacement will be required from time to time, and should occur when:
1. The display fades in part or completely
2. The timing function will not activate
TO REPLACE THE BATTERY:
1. Remove the screws on the back of the unit with a small phillips screwdriver and
remove te back cover.
2. Remove the exhausted battery from the unit, and insert a new battery (be sure
to place the positive (+) side of the battery is visible, facing toward the battery
compartment cover).
3. Replace the back cover and replace the screws with a small phillips screwdriver.

Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged
• Rechargeable batteries must be removed before recharging
• Rechargeable batteries should only be recharged under adult supervision
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium)
batteries
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed
• Do not mix old and new batteries
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire; batteries may explode or leak
• Do not dispose of product in fire; batteries may explode or leak
• If this product will not be used for an extended period of time, remove the bat-
teries from the product
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited
• Batteries are to be inserted with correct polarity
• Clean the battery contacts and also those of the product prior to battery instal-
lation
• As always, dispose of batteries in an eco-friendly manner

and batteries, contain trace elements (including Mercury – Hg, Cadmium – Cd and Lead – Pb)
which could be harmful to our environment and therefore our health. We must all be careful to
dispose of them responsibly in a specifically designated way – either using a collection scheme or
into the correctly labeled civic amenity (NOT into general waste) – this will help your local author-
ity to arrange to recycle or dispose of them in the appropriate manner.

1. In Time mode, PRESS & HOLD the RECALL key for 2 seconds to enter the
programming sequence.
2. Adjust Seconds by PRESSING the START/STOP key. PRESS the LAP/SPLIT key
to accept value and advance to set Minutes.
3. Adjust Minutes by PRESSING the START/STOP key. PRESS the LAP/SPLIT key
to accept value and advance to set Hour.
4. Adjust Hour by PRESSING the START/STOP key. PRESS the LAP/SPLIT key to
accept value and advance to set Year.
5. Adjust Year by PRESSING the START/STOP key. PRESS the LAP/SPLIT key to
accept value and advance to set Month.
6. Adjust Month by PRESSING the START/STOP key. PRESS the LAP/SPLIT key
to accept value and advance to set Day of Month.
7. Adjust Day by PRESSING the START/STOP key. PRESS the LAP/SPLIT key to
accept value and advance to set 12/24-hour time format.
8. Select 12- or 24-hour Time Format by PRESSING the START/STOP key. PRESS
the LAP/SPLIT key to accept.
9. PRESS the RECALL key to exit the programming sequence. Time/Date is now
programmed.

SETTING THE ALARM
1. In Alarm mode, PRESS & HOLD the RECALL key for 2 seconds to enter the

TO ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE ALARM
1. In Alarm mode, PRESS the START/STOP key to turn Alarm ON/OFF. When
activated, the alarm icon will be visible.
SETTING THE COUNTDOWN TIMER
1. In Countdown Timer mode, PRESS & HOLD the RECALL key for 2 seconds to
enter the programming sequence.
2. Adjust Hour by PRESSING the START/STOP key. PRESS the LAP/SPLIT key to
accept value and advance to set Minute.
3. Adjust Minutes by PRESSING the START/STOP key. PRESS the LAP/SPLIT key
to accept value and advance to set Seconds.
4. Adjust Seconds by PRESSING the START/STOP key. PRESS the LAP/SPLIT key
to accept value
5. PRESS the RECALL key to exit the programming sequence. Countdown Timer
is now programmed.
USING THE COUNTDOWN TIMER:
1. PRESS START/STOP to begin counting down.
2. PRESS LAP/RESET to reset to original time.
