patterns using presets 70, 71, and 72. To program
a pattern, do the following:
1. Ensure that your camera controller is in
programming mode. Refer to your controller
documentation for additional information.
2. Move the dome to the starting point of the
pattern. Adjust the zoom, focus, and iris
settings if necessary.

Controlling Auxiliaries
Auxiliaries
, also called
outputs
, are external
devices, such as lights, audible alarms, or door
locks, that can be operated via the camera
controller when they are connected to a dome or
the video matrix switcher. Auxiliaries can also be
initiated automatically in response to an alarm
when they have been configured to do so. The
DeltaDome programmable surveillance camera
provides four connections for auxiliaries. When
used on a Manchester network, Auxiliaries 1
through 3 are supported. Auxiliary 4 will not work.
The DeltaDome programmable surveillance
camera supports three latching auxiliaries. A
latching auxiliary
remains activated until it is
manually deactivated. For example if the auxiliary
is a light, the light remains on until it is manually
turned off.
To manually operate an auxiliary, do the following:
1. Select the dome to which the auxiliary is
connected.
