Combi 9847 is an all-in-one high chair designed for children from birth to 3 years old. It features a reclining seat with 5 adjustable positions, a removable tray with 3 adjustable positions, and a snap-on tray for added convenience. Your high chair is intended

for domestic use only, it is not

intended for commercial use.

Never lift or carry your

high chair while occupied.

Once the high chair is

mounted, make sure that

all the screws are securely

fastened and check them

periodically.

Total Maximum weight of

the child MUST not exceed 40

lbs. (18 kg).

Be careful to keep you

high chair away from hazards

such as heaters, stoves, etc.

Make sure that the safety

belts are correctly adjusted to

the baby's size

Adjust the 5-point

harness according to the size

of your child. Adjust for every

reclining position.

Completely remove all

plastic bags and packing

materials before using this

product to prevent a possible

choking hazard.

The child should be

secured in the high chair at

all times by the restraining

system, either in the reclining

or upright position. The

tray is not designed to hold

the child in the chair. It is

recommended that the high

chair be used in the upright

position only by children

capable of sitting upright

unassisted.

Always keep child in view

while in high chair.

This high chair is

designed for use by children

up to 3 years of age.

Always secure child in the

restraint.

Do not adjust the height

with your child in the high

chair.

Always engage brakes

while high chair is in use.

Assembly of High Chair Seat

1. Insert the swivel wheels, with

the circular shaft, into the circular

hole in the base of the legs until

it snaps into place as shown.

2. Align holes in the footrest to the

screw holes in the seat base so they

fit flush together as shown.

3. Attach the footrest to the seat base

using two screws, one on each side

as shown.

4. Slide both connector rods through

the holes in the bottom of the seat

base. Al

ign two middle screw holes

on the connector rods with the screw

holes in the seat base as shown.

5. Attach the connector rods with four

screws until tight.

6.Slide on the height adjustment levers

so the screw holes line up with the

holes on the height adjustment

levers. If the holes do not line up, try

the height adjustment lever on the

other side of the connector rods.

7. Attach the height adjustment levers to

the connector rods using two screws

until tight.

9. Attach the lower legs to the upper

legs by holding down the release/

locking pins in the lower

legs and

sliding into the upper legs until the

pins snap into place.

8. Hold the seat upright and slide the

upper high chair legs down through

the holes in the height adjustment

levers as shown. Make sure the five

height adjustment slots on the leg are

facing the rear when sliding in. Push

through until the height adjustment

levers click into place.

1. Push the four rear harnesses through

the appropriate slots provided in the

back of the seat cushion and pull

through the other side as shown.

2. Slide the seat cushion over the back

of the back rest as shown.

Attaching / Removing Seat Cushion

4. Fold the sides of the seat cushion

over the sides of the seat base and

snap into place as shown.

3. Pull the crotch strap through the hole

in the bottom of the seat cushion as

shown.

Removing the Seat Cushion:

To remove the seat cushion, reverse the

instructions shown in steps 1 though 4

above.

Attaching, Adjusting and Removing the Tray, Snap-On-Tray and Toy

Attaching:

1. Align the tray to the grooves of the armrest.

2. Slide the tray onto the chair while pressing in the

release buttons on each side underneath the tray.

Adjusting:

1. While pressing in the release buttons, slide the

tray to one of the three slots and release the

buttons. Make sure the buttons snap back out

to ensure it is locked in place. Gently pull on the

tray to ensure that it is locked into the desired

position.

Removing:

1. Press in the release buttons underneath the tray

and pull it off the seat.

Attaching

Place Snap-On-Tray over the standard tray and

push down making sure the “snap tab and

groove” snaps into place as shown.

Removing

Grasp the Snap-On-Tray tab closest to the

seating area and pull up gently, then lift the tray

upwards.

Cleaning

Wipe Snap-On-Tray clean with mild soap and

water.

Note: Snap-On-Tray is also dishwasher safe.

Attaching

Place Toy over the Snap-On-Tray and

push down making sure the “snap tab

and groove” snaps into place as shown.

Removing

Grasp the Toy and pull up gently, then lift

the Toy upwards.

Cleaning

Wipe Toy clean with mild soap and water.

Note: DO NOT submerge in water.

Installing Batteries in Toy

1. Remove the screw on the battery cover.

2. Press in the battery cover release button while

pulling the cover open.

3. Install two AA batteries in the direction indicated

inside the battery compartment.

4. Close the battery cover and re

tighten the screw.

Adjusting the Recline of the High Chair

1. Pull up on the release lever on the back of the chair and

change the position of the backrest as shown. Ensure that

the backrest is locked in position by gently pulling on the

backrest.

1. To adjust seat height, pull up left and right height

adjustment levers while moving seat up or down.

2. Release the height adjustment levers once desired

height is achieved.

3. Ensure left and right height adjustments are in

matching positions and seat is locked in position

before use.

4. Press down on seating area to verify seat is secure.

Adjusting the Height of the High Chair

Folding the High Chair

1, Press the height adjuster levers on both sides of high

chair, while lowering the seat into the lowest position.

2. Press the folding levers on both sides of high chair while

lifting the chair slightly to release the legs as shown.

Applying and Releasing Wheel Brake

To lock wheels, lower the brake

lever. (Down position.)

To unlock wheels, lift the brake

lever. (Up position.)

Routine Maintenance

STORE IN A COOL AND DRY AREA, especially in the summer. Do not store the high chair in the trunk

of a vehicle.

FRAME

To clean the body, wipe with a damp cloth then wipe out any traces of moisture on the body

with a dry cloth. Excessive exposure to the sun could cause premature color fading of frame

and fabric.

SEAT CUS

HION

Machine wash on gentle cycle in cold water using a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Line dry. If the

seat cushion is frayed or unraveling, discontinue use and call Consumer Affairs for further instruction.

WHEELS

After prolonged normal use, the wheels of your high chair may not swivel as easily as when

it was new. This is usually due to a buildup of dirt in the swivel mechanism. Before adding

lubrication, test the swivel action to determine whether lubrication is necessary. Using

compressed air* blow dirt from the mechanisms. Do not use soap and water to wash wheels.

ADDING LUBRICANT

Avoid lubricating the wheels whenever possible. Excessive lubrication or adding lubricant to

wheels when new may cause them to develop a shimmy or wobble that may quicken their

deterioration. Add lubricant (silicone*) to the shaft in small amounts.

Excessive exposure to the sun could cause premature color fading of plastic and

fabric.
