Thank you for purchasing our TN223/TN227 toner cartridges.
Please kindly know the label “TN223/TN227” on toner
cartridges doesn't mean they are in high or standard yield.
It's a label to notify that these toner cartridges can be the
compatible replacements for both Brother TN223 and TN227
toner cartridges.
Please read the instructions before installation.

Attention: Please make sure your printer is turned
off before installing the new cartridges.
Grasp both sides of the toner
cartridges and then distribute
the toner by gently rocking the
toner cartridge several times.
(Please keep protective cover
upward when rocking the toner)

Remove the toner cartridge
and drum unit assembly from
the machine.

If there is a chip on the toner
cartridge, please directly goes to
Step 4. If what you purchased is
the No-Chip toner cartridge,
please find the detailed chip
replacing instructions in “Warm
Tips“ and finish chip replacing before
installation.

Remove the orange protective
cover.

Slide the toner cartridge and drum unit into the machine. Make
sure that you match the toner cartridge color to the same color
label on the machine. After that, please press the seating of the
button on the left side of the printer(as picture showed) and make
sure the toner's chip connect well with the printer. If the printer is
unable to recognize the cartridge or showing “no toner”, pls
re-install again.
Tips 1: If the printer does not recognize the toner cartridges,
please re-install the toners and restart your machine to try
again.
Tips 2: If toner cartridges still can't be recognized by printer
after Tips 1, there may be two issues as below:
Brother printers will be irregularly upgraded to improve the
related functions. Brother upgrading issue will make some
cartridges unable to be recognized by printers, so please
keep the genuine Brother toner cartridges or the compatible
ones which can be recognized by your printer smoothly in
case of any chip upgrade issue in future.
If you purchase our No-Chip toner cartridges, please follow
the same instructions below to replace the chips.
Do not touch the chip surface to avoid some recognition
failure.
Please replace the chips one by one corresponding to their
colors.

Chip Replacing Instruction:
Step 1: Find the chip device on the left side of the
original toner cartridges and gently remove the screw
to pry out the whole device from original cartridges and
our cartridges.
Step 2: There are two parts of this chip device: the IC
chip and chip holder. Please insert the whole original
chip device on our toner.
Step 3: Tighten the screw and re-install
to try again.

NOTE : Please kindly note that the gear is for toner level monitor.
Please don't reset the gear after it is recognized by your printer
successfully, otherwise, the toner level shown on the printer will be not
accurate.
Reset instructions may be different for different batches of products. If
the gear position is different as the picture above, please contact us for
the instructions update.
Tips 3: Since there is no factory seal for this toner cartridge
series, if a little toner powder leaks outside, just clean it and
use normally.
