OxCart: A Great Fit for Colbert Hills

We were fortunate this year to purchase new equipment to maintain
Colbert Hills Golf Course. We obtained greens mowers, fairway mowers,
rough mowers and other specialty equipment. Of all the equipment purchased
this year, the OxCart Utility Cart has had the most impact.
We have used other utility trailers in the past; most of them were
designed for small homeowner projects. But the OxCart is very durable with
square tubing for the frame and has a side dump feature which allows it to
swivel 110 degrees.
The swivel feature is ideal for
our staff, mostly high school and college students, many of whom need to be
trained to drive a manual and don't know how to back up a trailer. With the
OxCart, you can just pull up next to your project and swivel the cart to unload.
Once and done!
Our irrigation tech, Patrick Bean utilizes the OxCart almost daily. His
irrigation cart is full of tools he uses to fix 60 irrigation breaks each year not
including wiring and case issues. The low body makes it an ideal height to
shovel soil into, especially sand when back filling the hole.
Patrick says, "Using the OxCart has made my life much easier in the last
few months. Unloading the OxCart is effortless, the power-assist saves my
back by reducing the dumping effort by a huge amount. The power-assisted
control helps me dump the OxCart from any angle. With irrigation pipe four
feet underground, we tend to utilize a lot of sand to backfill and haven't found
the weight limit yet."
We're always pleased when we find a piece of equipment or product that
works really well for our golf course maintenance activities. OxCart is a great
fit for Colbert Hills.
