STEP 1 -- MATCH & CONNECT WIRES

IMPORTANT
Before starting, compare items on your invoice with items
received. Thoroughly check packing materials. If an item
is missing, please call Crutchfield at 1-888-955-6000.
Match wires below to the matching function of each wire on your receiver (refer to instructions supplied with receiver). The wire colors of your
new receiver may, or may not, match the wire colors of the adapter. Match adapter and receiver wires by function, disregarding color.
Individually tape off any unused wires.
Make final wiring connections following instructions on the next page.

Red - 12 Volts Switched Power
Green - Left Rear Speaker Positive
Violet - Right Rear Speaker Positive
Green/Black - Left Rear Speaker Negative
Violet/Black - Right Rear Speaker Negative
Black - Chassis Ground Yellow - 12 Volts Constant Power
Blue - Power Antenna
Orange - Illumination
Gray/Black - Right Front Speaker Negative
White/Black - Left Front Speaker Negative
White - Left Front Speaker Positive
Gray - Right Front Speaker Positive
Black - Not Used (tape off)
White/Green - Steering Wheel Control Signal
IMPORTANT - Splice these wires in the factory harness to receiver ground
or to the vehicle chassis to prevent triggering the factory alarm system:
2002-'08 Jaguar X-Type - Red wire in pin #3 of 20-pin connector
2003-'08 Jaguar S-Type - Black/Green wire in pin #3 of 20-pin connector

STEP 2 -- CONTINUED
A. Strip wires back 1/2”.
B. Twist wires together and
insert in crimp cap.
C. Squeeze middle of cap
for tight connection.

STEP 3 -- APPLICATION

E. Be sure to wrap any wires from
the Wiring Adapter that are
not necessary (wires with no
match from the new receiver)
with electrical tape.
