Connecting to a gas source

➤ Position the gas cylinder vertically at a distance of at least 1 metre away
from the burner (on the back of the cooler).
➤ Check if the valve on the gas cylinder is closed.
➤ Connect the hose line to the head of the valve on the gas cylinder and the
cooler (fig. 3 1, page 4).
Use an open-ended spanner with the appropriate width for this.
➤ Make sure that the hose line
– Is not crushed or kinked
– Is a safe distance from the burner.
DANGER! Risk of suffocation
Only operate the device with gas outdoors.
WARNING!
The operation of gas appliances whilst the vehicle is in motion
must be in accordance with national guidelines.
Only use propane or butane gas cylinders with an gas
pressure regulator complying to EN 12864 or EN 16129
and national guidelines. The maximal capacity is 1.5 kg/h.
Compare the gas regulator pressure information with the
pressure listed in the technical data or on the rating label of
the device.
Only use gas cylinders with:
– Capacity: max. 15 kg
– Size: max. ∅ 320 mm x 540 mm
Keep the gas cylinder in safe distance from any source of
ignition.
Never place the device near flammable materials (paper, dry
leaves, textiles).
Your connecting hose must be replaced in accordance with
national guildelines. Change the hose if blockage or leakage is
found, but at least every three years.
Only use hose complying with national guidelines with a
maximum lenght of 1.5 m (in Finland 1.2 m).
NOTE
The device is fitted with a pilot light. The gas supply is interrupted
when the flame goes out.
