NISSAN INTELLIGENT KEY® SYSTEM

The NISSAN Intelligent Key® system allows you to lock or unlock your vehicle,

open your liftgate and remotely start the engine. It is important to make sure the

Intelligent Key is with you (that is, in your pocket or purse).

REMOTE ENGINE START* (if so equipped)

The remote engine start operating range is approximately 197 ft (60 m) from the

vehicle. The eective operating range may be shorter if there are walls or other

obstructions between the key and the vehicle.

For the remote engine start to function, the vehicle must be in the P (Park)

position with the ignition o and all doors must be closed and locked. Please see

your Owner’s Manual for additional information.

To start your vehicle remotely:

1. Press the button .

2. Within 5 seconds, press and hold the engine

start button for at least 2 seconds.

The engine will start, and the parking

lights will turn on.

Automatic climate control may begin heating

or cooling the vehicle depending on the

outside air temperature.

The engine will run for 20 minutes

and then turn o.

To start driving, depress the brake pedal and press the ignition switch.

LOCKING AND UNLOCKING THE VEHICLE

The lock and unlock operating range of the Intelligent Key is within 31.5 in

(80 cm) from each lock sensor.

To lock the vehicle, push any door handle lock sensor once, press the

button on the Intelligent Key or enter Drive and reach a low speed for the

doors to lock automatically.

To unlock the vehicle, perform one of the following procedures:

• Wrap your hand around the door handle to activate the capacitive unlock

sensor . When unlocking from the driver’s door handle, the driver’s door will

unlock. Unwrap your hand from the driver’s door handle and touch the lock

sensor within 60 seconds to unlock

all doors. When unlocking from the front

passenger door, rear doors, all vehicle doors

will unlock. To allow driver and passenger

doors to unlock at the same time from the

driver’s door handle, turn o the Selective

Unlock feature in the vehicle settings menu.

• Press the button on the Intelligent Key to unlock the driver’s side door.

Press the button again; all other doors and trunk will unlock.

LIFTGATE RELEASE (if so equipped)

To open the liftgate, press the button for longer than 1 second.

To close the liftgate, press the button again for longer than 1 second.

PANIC ALARM

The Intelligent Key can also be used to activate the panic alarm by pressing and

holding the button for more than 0.5 seconds. Once activated, the panic

alarm and headlights will stay on for a period of time.

Press any button on the key fob to turn the panic alarm o, or press the door

lock sensor if the key fob is in range.

INTELLIGENT KEY BATTERY DISCHARGE

If the battery of the Intelligent Key is

discharged or environmental conditions

interfere with the Intelligent Key operation,

start the engine according to the

following procedure:

1. Push the park button to shift to the

P (Park) position.

2. Firmly apply the foot brake.

3. Touch the ignition switch with the Intelligent Key, and a chime will sound.

4. Within 10 seconds after the chime sounds, press the ignition switch while

depressing the brake pedal and the engine will start.

APPROACH UNLOCK FUNCTION

When you approach the vehicle with the Intelligent Key, the vehicle will be

unlocked automatically by the approach unlock function. This function is

disabled by the default setting. You can enable this function by the vehicle

information display.

WALK AWAY LOCK FUNCTION

When you walk away from the vehicle with the Intelligent Key, the vehicle

will be locked automatically by the walk-away lock function. This function is

disabled by the default setting. You can enable this function by the vehicle

information display.

FRONT POWER SEAT ADJUSTMENTS (if so equipped)

To slide the seat forward or backward, push

the switch forward or backward.

To recline the seatback, push the recline

switch forward or backward.

SEAT LIFTER (driver’s seat)

Move the front part of the switch to

adjust the angle of the seat cushion. Move the back part of the switch to

adjust the height of the seat.

POWER LUMBAR SUPPORT (if so equipped)

Move the switch up or down to adjust the height of the lumbar. Move the

switch forward to increase the lumbar support or rearward to decrease the

lumbar support.

GETTING STARTED

2ND ROW SEATS

To slide the seat forward or backward, pull

the center of the bar up and hold it while

you slide the seat forward or backward to the

desired position. Release the bar to lock

the seat in position.

To recline the seatback, pull up on the recline

lever and lean back. To bring the seatback

forward, pull the lever up and lean your

body forward. Release the lever to lock

the seatback in position.

CHILD SEAT ACCESS MODE

If a child safety seat is installed on the 2nd row seat, the 3rd row can be accessed

without removing the child safety seat.

To access the 3rd row from outside the vehicle, push the seat button and

slide the seat toward the front of the vehicle.

MULTI-MODE

To enter the 3rd row from outside the vehicle, push the seat button . This will

release the back of the seat and move the seat forward.

To exit the vehicle from the 3rd row, press the seat switch and the seat

will slide forward.

MEMORY SEAT (if so equipped)

Two positions for the driver’s seat, steering

column (if so equipped) and outside mirrors

can be stored in the Memory Seat system.

Follow this procedure to set the

memory positions:

• Place the ignition in the ON or OFF position

and conrm the vehicle is in the P (Park)

position and conrm the transmission is in

the P (Park) position.

• Adjust the driver’s seat, steering column and outside mirrors to the desired

position using each adjusting switch.

• Push the SET switch , and within 5 seconds, push the memory switch

(1 or 2) for at least 1 second.

• The indicator light on the memory switch you select will illuminate for

approximately 5 seconds and a beep will sound.

• The driver’s seat, steering column and outside mirrors are now set to

your preferences.

These memorized positions can also be linked to your NISSAN Intelligent Key®.

3RD ROW SEATS

To fold the 3rd row seat at, rst pull the

headrest straps to release the headrests.

Pull the seat lever to release

the rear seats. The seatback will

move forward and lay at.

To return the seats to a locked

position, pull the seat straps

until seats are locked in place.

REAR DOOR ALERT

The Rear Door Alert functions under certain conditions to indicate there may be an

object or passenger in the rear seat(s). The system is activated when a rear door is

opened and closed within 10 minutes of the vehicle being driven.

REAR DOOR ALERT (ACTIVE)

When the system is active, an audible

horn will sound and a Check Rear Seat

for All Articles warning will appear

on the display.

To activate Rear Door Alert in your vehicle

information display:

• Press the buttons on the steering wheel

until the “Settings” menu screen appears.

• Using the scroll/OK button, on the steering

wheel to select “Vehicle Settings”, “Rear Door

Alert” and press the scroll/OK button.

• Choose from the following options: “OFF”,

“Horn & Alert” or “Alert Only”, and then press the scroll/OK button.

To return the seat to a locked position, push

the upper seat rearward until the seat and

track are locked. Push the seat cushion down.

To Dismiss Rear Door Alert:

• To dismiss the warning, use

the scroll/OK button on the steering wheel to

select “Dismiss Message” . If no selection

is made, this message will disappear after a

period of time.

To temporarily disable Rear Door Alert for the

remainder of the current trip, use the scroll/OK button on the steering wheel to

select “Disable Alert” and press the scroll/OK button.

DOOR LOCKS

All doors lock automatically when the vehicle speed reaches 15 mph (24 km/h).

All doors unlock automatically when the transmission is placed in the P (Park)

position or when the ignition switch is placed in the OFF position, depending on

the option selected in the “Vehicle Settings” menu.

STARTING/STOPPING THE ENGINE

It is important to make sure the NISSAN Intelligent

Key® is with you (that is, in your pocket or purse).

Depress the brake pedal.

Press the ignition switch to start the engine.

TURNING THE ENGINE OFF

Push the P (Park) button, apply the parking

brake and push the ignition switch to turn

the engine OFF.

OUTSIDE MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH

Push the left switch to select the

driver side outside mirror or push the right

switch to select the passenger side

outside mirror.

Adjust each mirror to the desired position

using the outside mirror control switch .

REVERSE TILT-DOWN FEATURE (if so equipped)

The reverse tilt-down feature will turn both

outside mirror surfaces downward to provide

better rear visibility close to the vehicle when

the mirror control switch is in either the

L or R position.

The mirrors automatically return to their original position when you shift out

of R (Reverse).

The outside mirror surfaces will return to their original positions when one of

the following conditions has occurred:

1. The shift lever is moved to any position other than R (Reverse).

2. The outside mirror control switch is set to the neutral or center position.

3. The ignition switch is placed in the OFF position.

TILT AND TELESCOPIC STEERING WHEEL ADJUSTMENTS

Release the lock lever by pulling it down

(if so equipped).

Adjust the steering wheel

forward or backward by moving

it to the desired position.

Adjust the steering wheel up or down to the

desired position.

Lock the steering wheel in place by pushing the

lock lever up rmly.

HOMELINK® UNIVERSAL TRANSCEIVER (if so equipped)

The HomeLink® Universal Transceiver can learn and consolidate the functions

of up to three dierent hand-held transmitters, operating items such as garage

doors, gates, home and oce lighting, entry door locks and security systems.

Place the ignition switch in the ON or ACC position (without starting the engine)

when programming HomeLink®.

To program the HomeLink® Universal Transceiver:

• Press and release the HomeLink® button that you would like to program. The

HomeLink® indicator light will ash slowly.

• Position the hand-held transmitter 1-3 in (2-8 cm) away from the

HomeLink® button.

• While the HomeLink® indicator light is ashing, press and hold the hand-

held transmitter button. Continue pressing the hand-held transmitter button

until the HomeLink® indicator light changes. You may now release the

hand-held transmitter button.

To verify the programming is complete, press the HomeLink® button and

observe the indicator light :

• If the HomeLink® indicator light remains constant, your device should

operate when the HomeLink® button is pressed. At this point, if your device

operates, programming is complete.

• If the HomeLink® indicator light rapidly ashes, rmly press, hold for 2

seconds and release the HomeLink® button up to three times to complete the

programming process. Do not press the HomeLink® button rapidly. At this

point if your device operates, programming is complete. If the device does not

operate, additional steps are required to complete the programming.

AUTOMATIC ANTI-GLARE REARVIEW MIRROR (if so equipped)

The inside mirror is designed so that it

automatically dims during nighttime conditions

and according to the intensity of the headlights

of the vehicle following you. The automatic

anti-glare feature is activated when the ignition

switch is in the ON position.

The automatic anti-glare feature is activated when the ignition switch is in

the ON position.

To turn o the anti-glare feature, press the O button on the rearview mirror. The

indicator light will turn o.

To turn on the anti-glare feature, press the | button on the rearview mirror. The

indicator light will turn on.

An additional person may make the remaining steps easier. To complete the

programming process:

• At the receiver of the device that you are programming to the HomeLink®

button, press and release the “Learn” or “Set” button. (The name may vary by

manufacturer, but it is usually located near where the hanging antenna wire

is attached to the unit.) You have approximately 30 seconds to initiate the

following step.

• Firmly press and hold the programmed HomeLink® button for 2 seconds and

release the HomeLink® button up to three times. Do not press the HomeLink®

button rapidly. At this point programming is complete and your device should

operate when the HomeLink® button is pressed and released.

EMERGENCY CALL (SOS) BUTTON (if so equipped)

The Emergency Call (SOS) feature requires a

NissanConnect® Services subscription.

With a paid subscription, it can be used to call

for assistance in case of an emergency.

To use the feature, press the switch cover

to release, then press the SOS button

on the overhead console.

HEATER AND AIR CONDITIONER (automatic)

AUTO BUTTON/DRIVER’S SIDE TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL

Press the AUTO button to turn the system on, and the system will

automatically control the inside temperature (automatic cooling and/or

dehumidied heating), air ow distribution, air intake and fan speed.

GETTING STARTED

Turn the driver’s side temperature control dial to the left for cooler air or to

the right for warmer air.

SYNC BUTTON/PASSENGER’S SIDE TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL

Press the SYNC button to turn the passenger’s side temperature controls

o. Press the SYNC button to synchronize the driver’s, front passenger’s and

rear settings. To turn Passenger SYNC o and individually set passengers

side temperature, turn the passenger’s side temperature control dial.

To turn Rear SYNC o and individually set Rear settings, change any of the

Rear Control settings.

Turn the passenger’s side temperature control dial left for cooler air or right

for warmer air.

Pressing SYNC will also synchronize settings in active zones

within the vehicle.

ON•OFF BUTTON

Press the ON•OFF button to turn the system on or o.

FAN SPEED CONTROL BUTTONS

To decrease fan speed, press the button on the left or to increase fan

speed, press the button on the right.

REAR ON•OFF BUTTON

To control the rear automatic air conditioning system with the front air

conditioner control panel:

• Turn on the front climate control system by pressing the ON•OFF button .

• Press the REAR ON•OFF button.

When the rear automatic air conditioning system is on, the indicator light on

the REAR ON•OFF button will illuminate.

To turn o the rear automatic air conditioning system from the front controls,

press the REAR ON•OFF button.

The rear passenger controls and system are unavailable until the REAR

ON•OFF button is illuminated.

REAR CTRL

To control the rear automatic air conditioning system using the front air

conditioner control panel, press the REAR CTRL button. The front display

will switch to the Rear Climate Screen.

Both the driver and passenger side temperature dials can be used to

control the rear temperature. Auto, Fan and Mode switches can also change

the rest settings.

Controlling the rear automatic air conditioning system will remain on for 10

seconds after the last operation. The control can be returned to the front

HVAC system by selecting the REAR CTRL.

DEFROSTING/DEFOGGING FRONT AND SIDE WINDOWS

Press the front defroster button to turn the system on. The A/C

automatically turns on when the front defroster mode is selected. This

feature removes humidity from the air.

Turn the temperature control dial to set the desired temperature.

To defrost the front and side windows, set the temperature control and

fan speed control to their maximum settings.

AIR RECIRCULATION BUTTON

Press the air recirculation button to recirculate interior air inside the

vehicle. The indicator light on the button will illuminate. This system is used to

avoid certain outside odors and to help adjust the inside vehicle temperature

more eciently.

The air recirculation mode cannot be activated when the climate control

system is in the front defroster mode .

MODE BUTTON

Press the MODE button to cycle through the following air ow outlets:

Air ows from the center and side vents.

Air ows from the center, side and foot vents.

Air ows mainly from the foot vents.

Air ows from the front defroster and foot vents.

REAR WINDOW AND OUTSIDE MIRROR (if so equipped) DEFROSTER SWITCH

To defog/defrost the rear window glass and outside mirrors (if so equipped),

push the rear window defroster switch .

This function automatically turns o after approximately 15 minutes.

REAR CLIMATE CONTROLS

To activate the system from the front row:

1. Press the REAR ON•OFF button to

turn on the rear automatic air conditioning

system. The indicator light will illuminate.

2. Push the REAR CTRL button .

• The fan speed, driver’s side or passenger

side temperature, AUTO and OFF buttons

will now control the rear climate control system.

• The indicator light will stay illuminated to indicate that the rear climate

control system is active.

To activate the system from the 2nd row:

• ON/OFF button — Turns on and o

the rear climate control system.

• Fan speed control buttons — Press

or to increase or decrease fan speed.

• Temperature increase and decrease

buttons — Adjusts the rear temperature up or down .

• AUTO button — The system automatically works to keep air ow and fan

speed at a constant temperature.

• Air Flow Control buttons — Changes the air ow mode.

HEADLIGHT CONTROL SWITCH

HEADLIGHT CONTROL

Turn the headlight control switch to the

position to turn on the front parking, tail,

license plate and instrument panel lights.

Turn the switch to the position to turn

on the headlights.

AUTOLIGHT SYSTEM (if so equipped)

The autolight system will automatically turn the headlights on when it is dark

and o when it is light. The system will keep the headlights on for a period of

time after you turn the ignition o and one of the doors is opened and if this

condition is continued, the headlights remain on for 5 minutes.

To activate the autolight system, turn the headlight control switch to the AUTO

position then push the ignition switch ON. To deactivate the autolight

system, turn the headlight control switch to the OFF position, position

or position .

HEADLIGHT BEAM SELECT

With the low beams ON, push the headlight

control switch forward to select the high

beam function. The blue indicator light

will illuminate in the instrument panel. Pull

the headlight switch back to the original

position to select the low beam. The blue

indicator light will extinguish.

Pull and release the headlight control switch

to ash the headlight high beams on and o.

FOG LIGHT SWITCH (if so equipped)

To turn the fog lights on, turn the headlight switch to the position ,

then turn the fog light switch to the position.

To turn the fog lights on with the headlight

switch in the AUTO position, the headlights

must be on, then turn the fog light switch

to the position.

To turn them o, turn the fog light switch to

the OFF position

The fog lights will automatically turn o when

the High Beam headlights are selected.

HIGH BEAM ASSIST

To activate the High Beam Assist system, turn the headlight control

switch to the AUTO position then push the switch as shown. The high

beam assist alert will appear in the vehicle information display while the

headlights are turned on.

LANE CHANGE SIGNAL

Move the lever up or down until the turn signal begins to ash but the

lever does not latch to signal a lane change. Hold the lever until the lane

change is completed.

Move the lever up or down until the turn signal begins to ash but the

lever does not latch and release the lever. The turn signal will automatically

ash three times.

Choose the appropriate method to signal a lane change based on the road and

trac conditions.

WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH

Move the lever to one of the following

positions to operate the windshield wipers:

Intermittent — Front wipers

operate intermittently, and the speed

can be adjusted by turning the

knob up or down to increase or

decrease wiper speed.

Low — Front wipers operate at a

continuous low speed.

High — Front wipers operate at a

continuous high speed.

Mist — Push lever up for one sweep

operation of the front wipers.

Front Washer — Pull the lever to have

one sweep operation of the wiper.

REAR WIPER AND WASHER

Intermittent — Rear wiper

operates intermittently (not adjustable).

Low — Rear wiper operates at a

continuous low speed.

Rear Washer — Push

the lever forward to activate the rear washer. The rear wiper will

operate several times.

SUN VISORS

Pull down the sun visor to block glare

from the front.

Remove the sun visor from the center mount

by lifting it slightly and swing it to the side

to block glare from the side window.

SLIDING FUNCTION

Slide the sun visor out from the mount to

further extend the visor location.

VEHICLE INFORMATION DISPLAY

The vehicle information display

displays items such as:

Vehicle settings

Indicators and warnings

Information/warning messages

Tire pressure information

Cruise control system information

Driving Aids (if so equipped)

RAIN-SENSING AUTO WIPER SYSTEM (if so equipped)

The rain-sensing auto wiper system can automatically turn on the wipers and adjust

the wiper speed depending on the rainfall and the vehicle speed by using the rain

sensor located on the upper part of the windshield.

To set the rain-sensing auto wiper system:

• Place the lever in the AUTO position .

The rain sensitivity can be adjusted by turning the knob toward the rear (Low) or

towards the front (High) .

• High - High sensitive operation.

• Low - Low sensitive operation.

To turn the rain-sensing auto wiper system o:

• Rotate the lever to the OFF position, or rotate the lever to the low

or high position.
