How to install a rubber speed bump?
I. Drill holes into the asphalt through the holes already in the rubber speed
bump. Make sure the holes are at least ½ inch wide and 3-4 inches deep.
II. Drive the ½ inch rebar spike through the holes in the rubber speed bump.
Rebar Spikes should be 14 inches long.
III. Rubber speed bump do not require maintenance; however it is advised to
periodically check the spikes to see if they came up. If they did, make sure
to keep them hammered down below the surface of the speed bump.
