Gleason Reel Multi-cable Gland is a weather-tight seal for cable entrances to junction boxes. It can be used for round or flat cables, stacked or side-by-side, as long as the package is no larger than 1.5" x 5.125". The gland is not a strain relief.
To use the gland, first disassemble it and cut an opening and drill holes in the junction box using the template provided. Mount the body casting with a rubber gasket between the casting and the junction box wall using the bolts provided.
Thread the cables through the top clamp, Micarta boards, and rubber seal, and reassemble the gland as shown in the instructions. Position the cables as required and thoroughly tighten the cap screws.
