Software update after installation of the analogue remote kit

1. Copy the correct secondary boot upgrade file (version 2.3 or later)

to a USB flash drive.

2. Rename the file sparc.fcf.

3. Disconnect any digital remote control or foot pedal from the

welding power source that is going to be upgraded.

4. Insert the USB flash drive into the power source USB connector.

5. Wait until the boot upgrade process is completed.

6. Power off the welding power source and wait for at least 1 minute.

7. Copy the correct system software upgrade file

(version 1.13.x or later) to an empty USB flash drive.

8. Insert the USB flash drive into the power source USB connector.

9. Wait until the system software upgrade is completed.

Verify the installation of the remote functionality by connecting

an analogue remote to the power source and control that the

remote and power source display are synchronized.

in the service manual.
