ActiveSync connection with ANYCOM Blue USB and ANYCOM Blue CF
Required Hardware:
ANYCOM Blue USB-100, 120, 130, 200, 220, 240 or 250 (for Windows)
ANYCOM Blue CF-2001, PC-2002, CF-300 (for PocketPC)
Required Software:
Microsoft Windows 98SE, ME, 2000 or XP
Microsoft ActiveSync 3.71
ANYCOM Blue USB drivers v1.4.2.10 or newer
ANYCOM Blue PC/CF Card drivers for PPC 2.24 or newer
1.) On your PC, right click on the Bluetoothâ„¢ icon in the Systemtray and select
Advanced Configuration
2.) Select the Local Services Tab and look for the COM Port for the Bluetooth Serial
Port
3.) If Secure Connection is enabled, select the Bluetooth Serial Port, click on
Properties and disable Secure Connection.
4.) Start Mircosoft ActiveSync and select File -> Connection Settings and select the
COM Port which you configured in the previous step.
5.) On your PDA, click on the Bluetooth icon and select Open Bluetooth Wizard.
6.) Select the Serial Port Connection and click on Next.
7.) Now select the COM Port and click on Next.
8.) The Bluetooth Wizard will now search for available Bluetooth devices. When it has
found your device select it and click on Next.
9.) The Bluetooth Wizard has now created a Serial connection with your PC, click on
Finish and Exit the Wizard.
10.) Now start ActiveSync and select Tools -> Options.
11.) Select the ‘BTActiveSync (COMx) and entry and click on Ok to save your selection.
12.) To establish the ActiveSync connection with your PC click on Start -> Bluetooth
ActiveSync.
