IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
For your own safety read the following instructions carefully before attempting to connect this unit
to mains power:
You should only plug the appliance into a 220V-240V AC, 50Hz supply. Connecting it to other power
sources will damage the appliance.
1. Please carefully read the instructions and check components before operating.
2. This appliance is intended for household use only.
3. Do not use the appliance other than intended or specified purposes.
4. Make sure the voltage mark on the appliance corresponds to the voltage in your home before
plugging in the power cord in order to avoid damage to the appliance.
5. To protect against electrical shock, do not place cord, plug, or base unit in water or other
liquids. Don’t operate machine with wet hand or place on a wet working place. Do not let the
cord hang over the edge of the table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
7. Unplug from outlet when not in use or before cleaning any part of the appliance.
8. It is prohibited to plug or unplug with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
9. To disconnect, remove plug from the electric outlet.
10. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
11. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
12. Do not use outdoors or in damp conditions
13. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
Ensure that the power cord does not touch any hot surface and that it does not overhang
the edge of your work surface

INTRODUCTION
Your favorite coffee just isn't the same without perfectly frothed hot milk. That's why the Avancer
Milk Frother is the ideal companion for any coffee machine.
With only one button anyone can use the Avancer Milk Frother - not just those skilled in the art of
rocket making.
This Milk Frother has a dual wall design and non-stick coating so you can continue to froth to
your heart's content. With a 580ml container capacity you can heat up to 260ml or froth up to
160ml..
Before First Use

1. Remove all packaging material such as carton and foils.
2. Check that the appliance is not damaged and all parts are present.
3. Before using the milk frother for the first time, rinse inside with hot water.
4. Empty and let it dry. Hold the lid with the whisk under running hot water, to remove any
leftover production residues.
5. Wipe housing of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth only, dry with a soft cloth
Tips
The appliance is suited for heating up and frothing cold milk. It makes milk foamy for use with
cappuccino, coffee latte, etc. You can froth cold milk without heating it up to enjoy with iced
coffee.
The appliance is not suited for mixing other food as dough or milk shakes with solid substance,
like small parts of fruit or ice cubes. This will cause damage to the whisk and will not be covered
under warranty.
OPERATION
General
1. Open the lid by lifting upwards
2. Pour cold milk from the fridge (recommended 8-12 degrees celcius)

a. If warming milk only then MAX 260ml
b. If frothing milk then MAX 160ml
3. Close lid firmly till it clicks into place. Otherwise the appliance will not operate
4. When fastening the lid ensure the two triangles are aligned
5. Connect unit to power and unplug after each use

Heating up milk and frothing (160ml max)
1. Fill up no more than 160ml to lower MAX mark only. The minimum min volume is 100ml.
2. Press the ON switch once only.
a. Milk will be heat up and the whist will rotate inside the kettle.
3. The indicator will change to blue color.
4. Frothing time is about 95sec. Then there will be an automatic cut-off. The indicator lamp
changes to red.
Heating up milk (260ml max)
1. Fill up no more than 260ml to upper MAX mark. The minimum min volume is 160ml.
2. The round whisk at the beater must be taken off the beater shaft. Therefore press the small
black brackets together and pull off.
3. Press the ON switch twice within 3sec: Milk will be heated. The interval function of the
beater unit will rotate the milk and helps to avoid sticking of milk in the kettle.
4. The indicator will change to blue color.
5. Heating time is about 125sec. Then there will be an automatic cut-off. The indicator changes
to red.
Frothing cold milk (160ml max)
1. Fill up no more than 160ml to lower MAX mark only. The minimum min volume is 100ml.
2. Press the ON switch thrice within 3sec. The beater unit will begin operating.
3. The indicator will change to blue color and will flash.
4. Frothing time is about 85sec. Then there will be an automatic cut-off. The indicator changes
to red.
Caution: Milk will overflow if you overfill the chamber
Cleaning and Maintenance
First read the instructions in the section titled “IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS”.
CAUTION: Danger of damage and electric shock! The base, the frother body and the cord should
never be immersed into water or other liquid, to avoid intrusion of water inside.
1. Immediately clean the appliance with a clean cotton cloth after each use, to avoid germ
development and stick-drying of milk residues.
2. Remove the milk frother from its base and empty completely.
3. The base may not be immersed into water or be cleaned under running water. Just wipe it
with a damp cloth and let dry thoroughly.
4. Never use abrasive cleanser on the non-stick coated inner of the milk kettle. Never use
metallic, sharp edged cleaning objects to clean the non-stick coated surface, to avoid
scratching and damage.
5. Rinse the milk frother with hot water. If necessary wipe it thoroughly inside with a damp cloth

containing some drops of dishwashing liquid.
6. Then rinse with clear water. The lid and whisk may be sufficiently cleaned with a rinse under
hot water.
7. If necessary clean this part gently with a damp cloth or a soft dishwashing brush. Take care
that the whisk shaft does not get bended while cleaning. Otherwise it won't run steadily
anymore.
8. If milk has been stick-dried on it, the whisk unit can be soaked in hot water. Close the lid
and let the unit run after a while in level 1 (press button one time) .This will make cleaning
easier.
9. Store the unit in a safe, dry place unapproachable for children.
Troubleshooting
Problem

If the Milk Frother is shown to have had an inherent defect present at the time of sale, Avancer will
provide you with a replacement.

this product is not to be handled as normal household waste but is to be taken to a recycling

Improper disposal endangers health and the environment. Further information about the recycling
of the product may be obtained from your local council, refuse collection department or the store
where you purchased the product.
