BLOTZ B28-DA-103 Assembly Instructions

  • Hello! I've reviewed the instructions for the BLOTZ Dark-Age Extension B28-DA-103 model. This document details the step-by-step process of assembly, including gluing the sides, attaching the front and framework, and adding the roof and panels. I'm ready to answer any questions you may have about constructing the model.
  • What kind of glue is required?
What tool is needed to remove parts from the sprue?
Can the panels be painted before assembly?
28mm Dark-Age Extension #3
B28-DA-103
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
A full-colour copy of these instructions can be found on our website: www.blotz.co.uk
Remove the two sides, base and front of the extension
from the sprue.
Glue the sides to the base, then attach the front.
Remove the framework from the sprue.
Glue the front frame in place and then the two side
frames – these should be flush with the back edge of
the base.
Attach the roof section. This is a good time to paint
your extension.
Remove the panels from the sprue- they can be
painted beforehand.
Work around the extension, gluing the panels into
place.
Attach the thatched roof (see separate instruction
sheet for working with “Teddy Bear” fur)
