How to charge the battery:
Plug the device into a computer or USB wall charger using the included Micro USB
cable. The battery indicator on the screen will show a full green battery when fully
charged.
It takes 1 hour to fully charge
Flashing battery indicator bar = Charging
Full battery indicator bar = Fully charged
How to record an audio file instantly:
Press and hold the on and off buttons, and the device will turn on
Press and hold the menu button "M," and the device will begin recording
To enter the recording screen once the display disappears, tap any button two times
To save the recording, tap the "M" menu button
Tap the menu button "M" to make another recording
To turn it off, press and hold the on and off button
Note: 20 seconds after a recording has begun, the time on the watch will return and 10
sec later will disappear. Tap any button to display the time for 10 seconds.
How to record an audio file by navigating the menu:
Press and hold the on and off buttons, and the device will turn on
Navigate the menu with the "Up" and "Down" buttons
Select the “Recordings” menu option by taping the menu button "M"
Highlight “Start Voice Recording” and tap the menu button "M"
A please wait screen will appear, followed by a recording screen. The device is now
recording
To enter the recording screen once the display disappears, tap any button two times
To save the recording, tap the menu button "M"
Tap the menu button "M" again to make another recording
To turn it off press and hold the on and off buttons
How to set voice-activation:
Select the "Recordings" section of the menu with the menu button "M"
Highlight "Record Set," then tap the menu button "M"
Highlight the "AVR" set, then tap the menu button "M"
Highlight and select with the menu button "M"
AVR switch = Voice activation on or off
AVR level = Adjusts the mic sensitivity
AVR delay = Delay of recording
Once completed, press and hold the menu button "M" to return to the main menu
Create a new recording. In the recording screen will be a VOS in red, indicating the
device is now in voice-activated recording mode
Note: Voice activation will not extend the battery life of the device.
How to set the recording schedule:
Changing this setting will allow the device to only record during the set times
Select the "Recordings" section of the menu with the menu button "M"
Highlight "Record Set," then tap the menu button "M"
Highlight "Auto Record," then tap the menu button "M"
Highlight and select with the menu button "M"
Record on/off = Turn on or off the schedule record mode
Auto Recycle = Record one time or every day
Start time = What time to begin recording
End time = What time to end recording
Use the "Up" and "Down" arrows to adjust the hour, then hold down either of those
buttons to switch to the minutes and tap the menu button "M" when done
Once completed, press and hold the menu button "M" to return to the main menu
Note: If the device runs out of power during the recording, it will finalize and save the file
before the battery dies.

Up and down buttons for navigating up and down, left and right between options in menu

The "M" button is the mode, menu, enter, yes, and confirm in menu settings.
The power button is for power and back in the menu settings, pause, and start recording
in recording mode
Turning the device on and off :
With the watch on your left wrist, the power button is located at the bottom right on the
side
Hold down for 3 seconds to turn it on. A welcome screen will appear and bring you to the
recordings section
Hold down for another 3 seconds to turn the device off. A “Bye” will appear and turn off
How to playback and delete files off the device using headphones :
Connect the headphones to the USB port on the device or connect a Bluetooth-enabled
device
Navigate the menu with the "Up" and "Down" buttons
Select the "Recordings" menu option by taping the menu button "M"
Highlight the "Recordings List" and tap the menu button "M"
Navigate the menu with the "Up" and "Down" buttons to highlight a recording
Tap the menu button "M" to playback the recorded file
Fast forward and rewind the recording by holding the "Up" and "Down" buttons
Change the volume and delete the recordings or adjust the playback type by taping the
menu button "M" to access the playback menu
Tap the on and off buttons to return to the previous screen. Press and hold the on and off
buttons when done
How to pair the Bluetooth for playback:
Using Bluetooth headphones or a vehicle Bluetooth: Turn on your Bluetooth device and
enable pairing
Be sure to turn off Bluetooth connectivity of anything else that usually auto-connects to
your Bluetooth devices
From the "Main Menu," navigate to the "Set" menu option and tap the menu button "M"
Highlight Bluetooth on and off and tap the menu button "M"
Highlight Bluetooth on and tap the menu button "M." The screen will display for a
moment
Highlight "Search for Device" and tap the menu button "M"
Navigate to whichever Bluetooth device you want to use by tapping the up and down
arrows and pressing the menu button "M" to select which Bluetooth device to pair with
Use the on and off buttons to back out of this section until you get back to the main
menu
You will now be able to navigate to your recordings sections and playback the files
How to set the time and date stamp:
Navigate to the set menu
Highlight the date and time and tap the menu button "M"
Set date = Adjust the time using the "Up" and "Down" arrows
Set time = Adjust the date using the "Up" and "Down" arrows
Note: Changing this setting changes the time and date displayed on the watch, and
stamp the recordings with the date and time as well.
How to change the clock display timeout settings:
Navigate to the set menu
Highlight the "Display Settings" and tap the menu button "M"
Backlight timer = Adjust how long the time the menu or recording menu displays
Screensaver hours = How long the watch time is displayed on the watch
Note: Changing this setting will change how long the watches clock is visible on the
watch.
How to manage and delete files from the device:
Make sure the recorder is turned off and plug in the headphone, then turn on or have the
recorder turned on and paired with a Bluetooth source
Navigate to "Recordings" within the main menu
The second option is the "Recordings List." Click the "M" button to enter
Click the menu "M" on the recording you wish to delete. The file will start to play
Click the menu "M" to get to the "Playback Menu," where you can adjust the volume,
delete this recording, delete all recordings, and set the playback mode
Navigate to "Delete" or "Delete All," depending on what you want to do. Press the menu

How to set up password protection:
Navigate to the "Set" menu and tap the menu button "M"
Using the up and down arrows, select "Password Setting" with the menu button "M"
Using the up and down arrow button, you can change the numbers from 1-9
To move to the following number, hold either the "Up" or "Down" arrow button for two
seconds
Once finished, tap the menu button "M" to save the password
The device will now require a password to turn on or connect to a computer
To turn the password off, navigate back to the "Password Setting" and change the
password back to the default 0000
Note: If the password is forgotten you can use 1028 to unlock the device.

Start Voice Recording: Records audio
Recordings List: Location of all audio recordings for playback. Volume adjust,
delete, delete all
Playback mode: Repeat off, repeat all, single play, repeat 1, backcycling,
backcycling all
Record Settings:
Recording Quality: 1536kbps - 32kbps quality
Recording Sensitivity: High, medium, low mic sensitivity
Auto Record
Record on/off: Turn schedule record on or off
Auto record cycle: Schedule record once or daily
Start time: Time schedule record begins
End time: Time schedule record ends
AVR Set
AVR switch: Voice activation on or off
AVR level: Change the grade level of activation sensitivity
AVR delay: Change the delay for recording
VOS Mode
1-5 Level: 1 is most sensitive, 5 is the least sensitive

Bluetooth
Bluetooth on/off: Turn on or off bluetooth connectivity
Search for device: Locates bluetooth enabled devices to pair to
Device list: Finds previously pair to devices
The display settings
Brightness: Adjust screen brightness
Backlight timer: Adjust the time the menu/record screen stays on before
switching to screensaver
Screensaver hours: Adjust the time the screensaver stays on before
switching off
Screensaver settings: Turn screensaver setting on or off
The date and time: Adjust the date and time
power off set
Save power off: No activity auto turns device off
Set the sleep timer: No activity turns off screen
Language: Changes language three is English
Information: Displays storage information
The format device: Completely erases all recordings
The factory settings: Completely erases all recordings and settings
Password settings: Password lock the device
Note: If the password is forgotten you can use 1028 to unlock the device.

How to manage and delete files on a Windows computer:
Connect the device to the PC
When connected, the PC will recognize the device as a removable disk
Open the “Record” folder
Inside will be the “Voice” folder. Double-click to open the folder
Double-click the file you wish to play
To delete a file, right-click and select delete from the popup menu
How to manage and delete files on a Mac:
Connect the device to your Mac computer
When connected, the Mac will recognize the device as a removable disk
Open the “Record” folder
Open the “Voice” folder
Double-click the file you wish to play
To delete a file, click and drag the file you wish to delete to the trash bin
Empty the trash bin with the device still plugged into your computer to delete the file from
the device permanently
Note: If the above step is not completed on a Mac, the recorded files will not be entirely
deleted from the device. You will have a phantom folder containing the deleted files that
can not be seen on Mac that still take up memory space. Empty the “trash bin” to clear
these files, or your recorder may run out of room.
How to Playback files on a Google Chromebook:
Connect the device to the USB port of the Chromebook
A pop-up menu may occur; if so, select “View Files”
If a pop-up does not occur, select the “O” icon called the “App Launcher“ similar to a
Windows icon button located in the bottom left corner of the screen
Underneath the “Google Drive” are “My Drive,” “Downloads,” “New Services,” and
something else that may be named “Removable Drive”
Select the “Removable Drive.” If unsure of this step. Disconnect the device from the
Chromebook and see what is no longer available under Google Drive from step 4
After selecting the “Removable Drive,” you can now navigate the folders in the main
folder to find the recorded files

How to playback files on an Android smartphone or tablet (No Apple Products):
An OTG cable is required for this process. For all other steps, refer to the OTG cable
guide at https://spycentre.com/products/dual-android-otg-cable , scroll to the bottom of
the page and click on user guides
Go to your “Device Storage,” and look for external memory. Inside will be all the files you
can click on to review what was captured

Note: To playback the files on these devices, you may need to download a media
player that can play in WAV format. We recommend VLC Media Player.
VLC Media Player (Recommended for optimal usage)
How to download VLC Media Player on a Mac computer
Go to www.videolan.org and click the “Download VLC”
It will open a new window and begin downloading
If it does not automatically start downloading, press the “Click Here” and select one of
the mirrored sites
Once completed, a new file named VLC will be visible on the desktop
Open the folder, and in the folder, move the VLC to the “Applications Folder” by dragging
and dropping it
Once in the “Application Folder,” the VLC player will complete the installation
Open VLC Media Player in the “Applications Folder” and drag your video files to the
“Drag Here” dialog box to open and play
If the VLC player is not installed, a change to the security and privacy settings is needed
To access your security and privacy, click on the Apple icon on the taskbar and select
“System Preferences”
Select “Security and Privacy”
Make sure the lock icon on the bottom of the screen is open and set to “Make Changes”
Select the button “Open Anyway”
VLC will now be fully installed
How to download and use VLC Media Player on a Windows computer
Go to www.videolan.org and click the “Download VLC”
It will open a new window and begin downloading
If it does not automatically begin downloading, press the “Click Here” and select one of
the mirrored sites
Once downloading has been completed, select run and install
Once finished, a VLC icon will now be available on your PC
To default, open a file in VLC Media Player, right-click on the file you wish to open and
select “Open With,” and choose VLC
To change all files to default, open with VLC Media Player: Right-click and choose
“Properties,” then click on the “Change” button next to “Open With” and change it to
VLC, then press ok. Now the files will default open with VLC
Note: If the memory folder of the recorder does not automatically open when connected
to a PC, disconnect the device and perform the following.
1. Type “Control Panel” in the search bar and select “Programs”
2. Under “Default Programs,” click “Change Default Settings for Media or Devices”
3. Under “Removable Devices,” select “Open Folder” to view files
4. Save and reconnect the device to the computer
