Place the supplied rechargeable battery in the battery compartment, with the battery connector plugged in, as
shown above.
Slide the battery compartment cover back on until it clicks into place.
Place the handset on the charger to charge for at least 16 hours.
NOTES
Use only the supplied NiMH rechargeable battery.
If you do not use the handset for a long time, disconnect and remove the batteries to prevent possible leakage.

Plug one end of the power cable into the charger base.
Plug the other end into the power wall socket and switch the power on.
NOTE
Ensure power cord is fed through the slot on the charger so unit sits ush with the desk.

This additional handset has been designed to operate with the DS6475-2A telephone system. Please refer to your
DS6475-2A user’s manual for instructions on general functionality.

your DS6405A.

Registering an Additional Handset
The additional handset must be registered to the telephone base before use. Follow the instructions below to register
a cordless handset to your DS6475-2A.
To register a Handset
Make sure the unregistered handset is not on the base or charger cradle.
Put the unregistered handset on the base, the screen shows “Registering... Please wait”. The indicator on the
base turns on. The registration process takes up to 90 seconds.
If the registration is successful , the handset screen shows “HANDSET X Registered” (X stands for the handset
number) briey. The indicator on the base turns off. The handset will return to idle mode. Repeat the steps above
if the registration failed.

DS6475-2A User’s manual.
