The Basic features:
Alpha Guard has been designed especially for:
o Protection of properties and cars
o Remote data collection
o Remote control of el. devices
o Alarm
o Remote signalization
The Basic technical parametres:
GSM module TC35 or MC35 900/1800 MHz
Power supply 9 to 15V ss
4 programmable ports of processor (inputs/outputs, pulses, etc. Up used
software) 5V/10mA
serial input and output of GSM modem with 3V level
voice input and output cca 100mV
restart of GSM module
at connector is possible connect optional modules (voice module,
monitoring (overhear) module, relay module etc.)
transmit DTMF tones after connecting
detection of tones after connecting (busy tone, ringing tone etc.)
Real time clock
Timer (alarm)
The type of application is limited by software in
processor:
o GSM invoker : inputs are not used. During ringing from „list of
permitted numbers“ stored on SIM card you make an alarm. Then are
progressively calling “invoking numbers“ stored on SIM card invoking
call is free charge (Suitable for example: fire department).
o Alarm-Guard mode : device is equipped by 4 inputs (states) for each
you can programm own SMS with telephone number. In case of state
changing is sent corresponding SMS to preprogrammed number.
Simoultenously (up setting) call (ringing warning free charge) up 8
preprogrammed numbers. When you connect optional modules you can
monitor guarded area.
o Remote control mode: 2 inputs in Guard mode and 2 outputs can be
used for connection different types of devices (relay for switching). It can
be used for monitoring as well.

o Remote data collection the integrated processor can scanning for
example: pulses from different measurements and send measured
values back on line.
We can prepare O E M optional modules up your needs!!!!

Alpha Guard type 4in/A
Guarding device is equipped by 4 inputs (states) for each you can set
own SMS with telephone number. In case of state changing (short circuit
of inputs against ground for time longer than 1 sec.) the device send
corresponding SMS to preprogrammed number. Simultaneously (up
setting) call (ringing warning is free charge) up 8 preprogrammed
numbers. When call has been picked up you hear interrupted alarm tone.
InstalIation
Unmark pins are used in other applications of Alpha Guard (RX, TX, nf
input, nf output, IGNITION etc.)

Power supply
Regard to connectors
connection in the device (via
picture) you can power supply
provide by more ways:
· The simplest way is feeding
from ordinary ss adapter 9
to 12V (+ in the middle),
which is plug into DC
connector.
· The same ways you can use
feeding from UPS. (then is
already connected ground
for each inputs).
· The similiar is using pin 5 (and ground pin 8 and 9) for connection
feeding from UPS exchange – then is used for connection of inputs as
same as feeding the connector 1 only.
Connection of inputs
The inputs 3 and 4 is possible used either for connection of devices with 5V
logic or for direct connection with various switching contacts (optron,
transistor). The inputs 1 and 2 is possible used for connection of devices
with 5V logic. In case of switching contacts using is neccessary to connect
among input and +5V resistor of 10 Kohm.

Example of practise using for guarding of level height.
Preparation of SIM card
On the SIM card are stored all numbers and SMS messages, which are
using by device. The alarm numbers where are device calling (during
states changing) are stored under name MASTER 1 to MASTER 8.The
numbers where SMS has been sent are stored together with messages.
· Insert SIM card to mobile phone.
· Set starting without PIN.
· To phone book store numbers MASTER1… (called in case of
alarm). The numeral after name MASTER makes order of called
number. Store how many MASTERx numbers how many you need
only. (Example MASTER 1 only). When you do not want use this
feature – store nothing.
· When you have already some SMS on the SIM card – erase them.
· Store on the SIM required SMS with corresponding phone numbers
where will be sent. (Alarm of each input can be sent to another
telephone number ! ). The messages store in order of each inputs
(first message for input 1 then for 2 etc.). When phone not enables
to message store a number (NOKIA phones) then is send special
SMS „Failure at input x“ to number MASTER1.
· Turn off the phone and take away the SIM card

Installation
· Insert the SIM card.(After
pressing yellow button the
SIM card reader will move
out).
· Connect antenna.
· Connect inputs (use
enclosed cabel with
connector (via follow
picture)
· Connect power supply.
· Light up green LED at the
front cover
· 3 times shortly flash red LED at the front cover and starts flashing
in 2 sec. period.
· The red LED flashing quickly – log into GSM network.
· The red LED flashing in 2 sec. period again – stand by mode,
device is ready for operation.
· Make an Alarm: the red LED start flashing quickly (calling to
preprogrammed numbers, sending SMS). Progressively ringing at
numbers stored as MASTERx (when call is not pick up or refuse
then device calling to next number). At phone with corresponding
number is send SMS message.
· Call from any MASTER phone to the device: Your call will be after
1 ring refused. The device will send at this phone SMS message
with states of each inputs.
· Call from any phone to the device which is not MASTER.Your call
will be ignorated.

The most often problems during installation
It is not lighting any LED.
Problem in feeding. Check feeding connection.
The speed red „log in network„ LED flashing has not performed
The module has not log into the GSM network:
· wrong SIM card (or bad insert to reader)
· old 5V SIM card (the module supports cards 3V and less)
· set log into GSM network with PIN
· so much bad GSM signal
Nothing hapened during alarm:
At the SIM card are not stored numbers called MASTER and SMS
messages.
The inputs 1 and 2 are used with contact without resistor at +5V .
