Step 3: Install soap dispensers and supply tubes
1. Insert the shank through the hole in the Lav Deck and secure
the shank to the Lav Deck with the washer and nut provided.
NOTE: For ease of installation, moisten the end of the tube before
inserting into the 7/8" O.D. vinyl tube. The tube must be fully
inserted into the reservoir for the soap to properly dispense (see
Figure 3).
2. Insert the supply tube into the soap reservoir through the rub-
ber grommet as shown in Figure 3.
Step 4: Fill soap reservoir
NOTE: The soap system dispenses vegetable/coconut oil liquid
soaps, synthetic detergents, viscous lotion soaps and antiseptic
solutions. A 10-15% concentration is recommended for vegetable
and coconut oil soaps. All other soaps and solutions require no
dilution. Reservoir capacity is 1.5 gallons.
1. Remove the filler cap using the soap wrench provided.
2. Pour the soap into the filler assembly.
3. Install the filler cap and prime both of the soap valves until soap is dispensed.
Changing soap type
1. If your Lav Deck is equipped with an optional access panel, remove the panel from the deck.
2. Disconnect the filler tube from the soap reservoir at the male connector by first removing the
hose clamp, then removing the tube.
3. Disconnect the supply tubes from the reservoir by pulling the tubes out of the 7/8" O.D. vinyl
tubing.
4. Remove the soap reservoir from the hanger bracket.
5. Pour out all of the old soap in the reservoir, utilizing the drain plug. Then fill the reservoir with
hot water. Shake the reservoir to loosen any soap residue and rinse repeatedly until it is clean.
Allow to air dry.
6. Place the soap reservoir on the hanger bracket and reinstall the filler and supply tubes following
the procedures outlined in Step 2 on page 3, and Step 3 above.
7. Refill the soap reservoir following the procedures outlined in Step 4 above.
Cleaning the soap dispenser and reservoir
NOTE: Monthly cleaning of the soap system is recommended to ensure optimum performance and
maximum service life.
Clean exterior: Use warm water and soap to clean the soap valves. Dry with a soft cloth.
Clean interior: Inspect the interior of the soap reservoir for residue and/or coagulation of soap.
Clean and refill the soap tank following the procedures outlined in Changing soap type above.
Clean internal components: To clean the internal components of the soap dispenser, pump hot
water through the soap system until a clean flow of water comes out of the valve.
