1.2 Solution
Replacing the MUX board
The defective board must be returned to Barco.
A new board will be delivered and must be m oun ted in the projector.
How to replace the RGB Multiplexer ?
1.Loosen the 4 screws and take out the Electronic Box Drawer. (image 1-3)
2.Disconnect the 2 flat cable connectors J3 and J4. (image 1-4)

3.Disconnect the power connector J18. (image 1-5)

from J40 on RGB Input 1
4.Disconnect power connector J36 on PMP 1 (Master), this is necessary to remove the RGB
Multiplexer Board. (image 1-6)

5.Loosen the 5 screw s connecting the RGB Multiplexer to the Electronic Box Drawer. (im-
age 1-7)
6.By removing the module disconnect the board to board connector J3 on the rear. (im-
age 1-8)

7.Disconnect data connector J17. (image 1-9)

from J19 on RGB Input 1
8.Reverse this procedure to install the new RGB Multiplexer.
