GLOBALSTAR SATELLITE PHONE - Making a Call

1. To make a call, use your satellite phone outdoors with a clear view of the sky and

horizon (no obstructions, i.e. buildings, large trees).

2. Rotate and fully extend the antenna, pointing towards the sky.

3. Turn on your phone by pressing and holding .

4. Wait about 30 seconds and check your screen for service bars and a

Red House . When you see these two icons on the screen your phone is

registered with the Globalstar Satellite network and you can make a phone call.

5. Enter the phone number you want to call. Always dial the country code and the

area code for the number you are dialing. Example: 1-866-651-7768.

6. Press .

When talking on the satellite phone, ensure that the antenna is fully extended and

pointing towards the sky.

The satellite phone does not operate inside a building or in a car, unless using the

Globlastar Installation Kit.

•

For best performance, move away from tall obstacles such as buildings or trees.
