Prime-Line U 9852 is a door security chain that provides added security to your home or office. It is easy to install and use, and it can be used on both inswinging and outswinging doors.

The chain is made of durable steel, and it is 1-1/4" wide. It is long enough to allow you to open the door a few inches to see who is outside before you open it all the way.

The chain is attached to a slide plate that is mounted on the door jamb. The slide plate has a large hole at one end and a smaller hole at the other end. To lock the chain, simply slide the end of the chain into the large hole and then slide it to the opposite end of the slot.
