PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)
1. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove the
old fixture including the mounting hardware.
2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts
on a clear area. take care not to lose any small parts
necessary for installation.
3. Place glass(C) into the slot of the fixture frame(H) and
secure with glass clip(D),
then put the socket tube(E) to
the socket(F)
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)
4. While supporting the fixture, connect the electrical wires
as shown in Fig. 2, making sure that all wire connectors(J)
are secured. If your post has a ground wire (green or bare
copper), connect the fixture ground wire to it. If not,
consult your electrician for proper grounding. After wires
are connected, tuck them carefully inside the post cup (I).
COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)
5. Install 60W / type B bulbs (not included) in
accordance with the fixture specification. —DO
NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!
(NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE
MAXIMALE!)
6. Fasten the fixture cover (A) to the fixture frame(H) with
the screws(B).
7. Attach the post cup (I) to the post (K) with the set
screws (G).
Your installation is now complete. Return power to
the junction box and test the fixture
IMPORTANT: FIXTURE SHOULD BE INSTALLED BY A
QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO ENSURE PROPER WIRING
AND INSTALLATION.
