more accurate step count.

CHARGING YOUR ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
Your ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
must be charged before you start using it. In
addition, you should charge your ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
when a flashing
empty battery symbol appears on the display. This flashing symbol is
to let you know that the battery power is down to a few hours.
To charge your ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
, follow the steps below.
1. Remove your watch module from the metal bangle or silicone case.
2. Plug your charging cable into a USB port on your computer.
3. Insert your watch module into the charger as per the instruction
below and attached to the charger.

1. Align the Green Ridge on module to fit

2. Slide module into charger
as pictured and press down.
4. Your watch module will show a battery with lightning sign for a few
seconds. Pressing the buttons on the side of the watch module will
bring back the battery symbol or turn on the display as you need it.
5. Charge until the battery sign is filled up. Recommended charging
time is 3 to 4 hours. Your ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
is designed to run up
to 4 days once fully charged.
6. Best time to charge is when watch tracking functions are not in use.
CARE AND WEARING TIPS
The following are tips when caring for your ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
:
Clean and dry the ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
regularly, particularly under
the band with a damp cloth.
Wear your ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
band loosely enough to allow air
circulation.
Use skin care products sparingly on the areas of the wrist covered by
the ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
.
HOW TO PUT ON YOUR ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
Remove the protective sticker off of the module.
Your module is shipped in the off position. If charging the module did
not turn on the display, press and hold the button at the 3 o’clock
position for 5 seconds.
The watch module is interchangeable between the silicone case and
the metal bangle. First, align the ridges on 12 and 6 o’clock sides of
the watch module with the
notches on the back side
of the silicone case or
metal case. Then, snap
in the watch module as
per the diagram.
SETTING THE TIME
You do not need to set the time manually. When synchronizing the data
on your watch to the app on your phone, the time of your phone will
be synchronized to the watch.
For changing time zones, re-sync your watch with your phone after your
phone is opened and has acquired the new local carrier time.
Possible slight fast/slow timekeeping of your watch is auto-corrected
when you re-sync it with your phone.
TURNING YOUR ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
OFF
Press and hold the button at the 3 o’clock position for 5 seconds.
MODULE BUTTON OPERATION
Press the button at the 3 o’clock position repeatedly to loop between
the following displays:
“ARMITRON” logo
Time & Date
Calories burned
Steps taken
Distance traveled
Time sleep / deep sleep
MODULE BUTTON OPERATION (Continued)
Press the button at the 9 o’clock position to show sleep mode:
If the sleep mode is off (it shows “Z OFF”), press the button at the
3 o’clock position to start sleep monitoring.
If the sleep mode is on (it shows “Z ON”), press the button at the
3 o’clock position to stop sleep monitoring. Then, it will show the
monitoring result of the sleep.
Note: When sleep monitoring is on, all tracking functions are off.
SETTING UP ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
ON A MOBILE PHONE
1. Install the ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
app. (You can find the ARMITRON
PRO-FIT
®
app on the iOS App store or Google Play store by
searching for “ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
.) ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
runs on
iPhone 4S and up, iPad 3 and up, Android 4.3 and up.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth on your mobile phone and open the
ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
app.
3. On the watch module, press the button at the 3 o’clock position
repeatedly until it shows the “ARMITRON” logo.
4. Press and hold the button at the 9 o’clock position for a few
seconds, it will show a 12 digits alpha-numeric validation code.
Write this validation code down.
5. In the app, go to settings page, select the device tab and enter your
validation code into the app. The code is not case sensitive.
6. To save battery power, the display will turn off in 15 seconds. Just
press any button to show the code again.
7. After the code is entered, while it is showing on the display, press
the button at the 3 o’clock position twice to exit.
8. After entering the validation code, tap “Pairing”.
9. Input the personal set-up info in the “Info” tab.
10. Tap “Save” to save it.
11. If you skip set-up, your module will use default values.
12. Then go to “Home” page and tap “Sync” to sync the fitness data
and time.
13. If the message “blue tooth not linked” pops up, tap the antenna
symbol on the upper left corner of the screen to re-link and tap
“Sync” again. You may need to tap this more than once depending
on your Bluetooth connectivity.
OTHER FEATURES OF THE ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
APP
When the daily goal is achieved, there will be a gold star tagged right
at the date so you can see your achievement.
In the “History” view, the app provides weekly, monthly and yearly
reports. You can review your fitness data history easily.
The app will follow your phone setting if it is set to Spanish or
Simplified Chinese. The module is always in English.
MEMORY
Your ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
module holds the detailed data for the most
recent 7 days. The recorded data consists of steps taken, calories
burned, distance traveled, active time and sleep monitoring. Sync your
ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
regularly to have the most detailed data available
to view on your mobile phone. We recommend that you do this daily.
If the battery loses its charge, the current data in the module will be
lost. If you sync the watch to the app daily, your app will be loaded
with the most up to date information. The low battery indicator will
appear on the module when you have about 15% battery life left. You
should sync your watch to the app and recharge as soon as possible.

Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party
responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate
the product.
NOTE: This product has been tested and found to comply with the
limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC

BUILT-IN BATTERY PRECAUTIONS:

battery.

Your
ARMITRON PRO-FIT

is warranted to be free of defects in materials
or workmanship, under normal use and when used as direct, for a period of
two years from the date of purchase. This limited warranty excludes
damage resulting from improper care or handling, accidents, modification,
unauthorized repairs, normal wear, or other causes which are not defects
in materials or workmanship. In the event of a defect or malfunction within
the warranty period, the
ARMITRON PRO-FIT
®
will be repaired or replaced,
at our option, provided it is returned prepaid with a check or money order
for $9.95 to cover the cost of handling and return postage, as well as with
the original proof of purchase (sales receipt). (This is not a repair charge).
No additional charge will be made unless additional servicing is necessary
for reasons beyond our control such as misuse, neglect or replacement parts
that are not covered under warranty such as case, crystal, strap, bracelet
or battery.
THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS PROVIDED ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL
INDIVIDUAL PURCHASER AND SHALL CONSTITUTE THE EXCLUSIVE
REMEDY OF PURCHASER AND THE SOLE LIABILITY OF MANUFACTURER
AND SELLER. NO OTHER WARRANTY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF
MERCHATABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS
MADE OR IS TO BE IMPLIED. REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE

IS THE SOLE REMEDY AVAILABLE. IN NO EVENT

OR DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, INCIDENTIAL, SPECIAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPLACE THE BATTERY IN YOUR DEVICE.
The battery should be replaced only by an authorized service provider.

We are not responsible for loss or damage during shipment to us, so we
recommend you pack your product carefully and use a shipping company
that provides tracking. Never include a special band or any other article
of personal value in your shipment. Please do not include the gift box as it
will not be returned.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have
other rights which may vary from state to state. Some states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations
and exclusions may not apply to you.
