2/ Wireless association
This chapter allows you to associate a remote
control with one or more X3D wireless motor(s),
X3D roller shutter receiver(s).
You can associate up to 16 receivers or motors.
2.1 Associating a motor or receiver
2.1.1 A single motor is turned on
Set the motor or receiver to association standby
mode.
On the remote control press
and at the
same time and hold for 3 seconds, until the LED
ashes. Release.
When receiver is found, the LED lights up green brie y.
After a few seconds, the shutter starts twice to
con rm the association.
The receiver LED is off.
The association mode is automatically exited
Activating association standby mode
- Motor:
1) Upon turning on for the  rst time, if the motor
was not associated before.
2) From a remote control used for the motor
(already associated) press the
button for 3
seconds.
- Receiver: press its button for 3 seconds until the
LED  ashes.

2.1.2 Multiple motors or receivers are in association
standby mode and you only want to associate one

2.2 Associate multiple motors or receivers
Important: if you associate several motors with
the remote control, you will no longer have access
to the stop settings from it.
Set the motors (receivers) to association standby
mode.
On the remote control press
and at the
same time and hold for 3 seconds, until the LED
ashes. Release.
The remote control searches the different motors or
receivers.
The LED ashes red, then briey green as soon as a
new receiver is found.
When the LED starts ashing red slowly, press
and at the same time and hold for 3
seconds until the red LED turns on.
The shutters are activated briey to conrm the
association.

3/ Save the favourite positions
You can save up to 2 favourite positions: and

Set the shutter to the required position e.g.

Press or to set the angle of the slats.

seconds to save the position.
The LED changes from red to green if the receiver
has correctly received the information. The shutter is

5/ Troubleshooting
• The red LED fl ashes several
times every time a button is pressed.
The battery is low.
Change the battery.
• Remove an association
- Remove the front face of the
remote control.
- Press button A.
The red LED  ashes.
- Press
as many times as
required to select the motor
(receiver) to remove.
- Press the
button.
The shutter starts.
- Press button A to exit.
• Remove all associations
To release the remote control from all association.
- Remove the front face of the remote control.
- Press button A. The red LED  ashes.
- Press the
and buttons at the same time and
hold for 3 seconds. The shutters start.
- Press button A to exit.
CR 2430
• Your remote control is lost or not functioning
Initial condition: The lost remote control was only
associated with a single motor (receiver).
From a new remote control:
- Press the B button 2 times, until the LED  ashes
orange.
- Press and for 3 seconds until the  ashing
stops.
The motor (receiver) has not been associated before
- Restart the association process for your new
remote control.
• The green LED does not fl ash after briefl y
pressing button B.
- Several motors are associated with the remote
control.
Therefore, you cannot access the setting modes in
this case.
The remote control must only be associated with
one motor for the settings.
