Before using the OPERATOR, read and strictly follow all the instructions
contained in this manual.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or by persons lacking experience
and knowledge, unless they have received instructions on how to use the appliance
or are supervised by a person responsible for your safety. It is recommended that
children are supervised and guided, ensuring that they do not play or stay close to
the product.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Important Safety Instructions. Follow all the instructions in this
manual. Incorrect installation can lead to serious injury.
- Do not allow children to handle the remote control of the
equipment. Keep the remote control away from children,
avoiding unnecessary openings and, consequently, decreasing
the security of the site;
- Do not activate the operator, at least when you are sure that there are no children,
animals, objects or obstacles in the path of the gate or in its vicinity;
- Disconnect the mains (power supply) when performing cleaning or any maintenance.
Maintenance/installation of the operators by a PPA specialized technician is mandatory;
- Frequently examine the installation, security system, brackets (proper opening and
closing). Perform periodic cleaning. Do not carry out repairs or adaptations yourself.
Look for a specialized technician to carry out the repairs, as a failure in the installation
or improper repair can cause injury to the user;
- It is very important to wait for the limit switch of the operator's movement and
keep people away until the chain is completely open or closed;
- If the power cord is damaged, ask the specialized technician for its replacement,
in order to avoid risks. The use of the Ground conductor is mandatory;
- Keep the cabinet (BC1 body) always closed, opening it only for possible maintenance.
The cabinet is the protection of the entire mechanical and electronic system.
- Do not direct water jets into the cabinet as it may damage the entire equipment.
- Never use abrasive products for cleaning, such as: steel sponge, thinner, solupan
and other solvents.
The internal of the operator has a label identifying the model and manufacturing
batch of the equipment.
ATTENTION
Always check the status of the tag. If the sticker becomes damaged or illegible,
purchase another from a PPA Representative.
EQUIPMENT SHUTDOWN
EQUIPMENT IDENTIFICATION
For the total shutdown of the operator, it is necessary to use a shutdown device
that must be incorporated with the fixed conductors and located close to the operator.
Examples of total shutdown devices: Circuit breakers, ON/OFF switch, etc.
Note: The built-in total disconnection device must ensure the disconnection of
all mains conductors, except the Ground.

UNLOCKING SYSTEM
When there is a power outage, release the current from the cabinet manually, so
it can be lowered until power is restored.
When power is restored, BC1 will calibrate the movement. To do so, follow
the procedures:
1. Activate BC1, through any of the installed devices.
2. BC1 will open/close slowly.
3. Then the BC1 will return to normal speed in automatic mode.
ACTIVATION FORMS
COMMAND BOARD
The electronic board allows the installation of other accessories that add
functions to the operator and provide more comfort and safety to the user:
PHOTOCELL:
Prevents a person or vehicle from being caught by surprise in the current path.
Upon detecting an obstruction in its line of passage, the photocell (active
infrared sensor) prevents closing or stops the closing movement automatically
opening the chain, thus avoiding collision with people, objects, cars or animals.
The accessories described above are optional and are not included with the
product.
The use of photocells is recommended to increase safety in the operator's
operation. Contact a representative or visit the website (www.ppa.com.br) to see
the available models.
Developed to quickly and effectively control the flow, entry and exit of
vehicles, in places such as: parking lots and condominiums as well as other
commercial and public establishments.
ATTENTION
The options described below vary depending on your needs specific to
each environment, defined at the time of purchase and product
installation.
Some of the ways to activate are:
- Inductive loop: Device installed below the floor where vehicles pass, whose
function is to detect the presence of a metallic body (vehicle), automatically
triggering the opening of BC1. This device keeps the chain open while the vehicle
is on the loop, preventing it from closing on top of the vehicle. The chain
automatically closes after the vehicle passes through the loop.
- RF device and remote controls: When pressing a registered button of a
remote control, the opening of the current is activated. Its closing may be
automatic or semi-automatic. In semi-automatic mode, the remote control
button must be pressed again to close the chain.
- Pushbutton: Generally used in places that have a security cabin with a
lookout that controls the flow, entry and exit of vehicles. It is a device that,
through a button, triggers the opening of the current.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY
MOTOPPAR, Industry and Commerce of Automatic Gate Operators Ltd.,
registered with the CNPJ (National Registry of Legal Entities) under Number
52.605.821/0001-55, located at 3526 Dr. Labieno da Costa Machado Avenue,
Industrial District, Garça – SP – Brazil, Zip Code 17400-000, manufacturer of
PPA Products, hereby guarantees this product against design, manufacturing
or assembly defects and/or supportively as a result of material quality flaws
that could make its intended use improper or inadequate, within a legal period
of ninety days from time of acquisition, provided that the installation
instructions described in the instruction manual are observed.
Due to the credibility and trust placed on PPA products, we will add 275
more days to the period mentioned above, reaching a warranty period of one
year, likewise counted from the time of acquisition proven by consumer
through proof of purchase (Customer Receipt).
In case of defect, within the warranty period, PPA responsibilities are
restricted to the repair or substitution of the product manufactured by the
company, under the following conditions:
1. Repair and readjustment of equipment may only be carried out by PPA
Technical Assistance, which is qualified to open, remove, and substitute
parts or components, as well as repair defects covered by this warranty;
thus, failure on observing this guideline and the verified use of any
non-original parts will cause the resignation of this warranty on the part
of the user;
2. The warranty will not extend to accessories such as cables, screw kit,
fixing brackets, power supplies etc.;
3. Expenses for packaging, transportation and product reinstallation will
be sole responsibility of the consumer;
4. The equipment must be sent directly to the Company responsible for
the sale (manufacturer's representative), through the address contained
in the purchase invoice, properly packed, thus avoiding loss of the
warranty;
5. Within the additional period of 275 days, visits and transportation in
places where authorized technical assistance is not available will be
charged. The cost of transportation of the product and/or technician
will be sole responsibility of the consumer and
6. The substitution or repair of the product does not prolong the warranty
time.
This warranty will be terminated if the product:
1. Is damaged by natural agents, such as atmospheric discharges, floods,
wildfires, landslides etc.;
2. Is installed in an improper electric power supply or if it is not according
to any of the installation instructions displayed on the manual;
3. Shows defects caused by droppings, collisions or any other physical
accident;
4. Shows signs of product violation or attempted repair by unauthorized
personnel;
5. Is not used for its intended purpose;
6. Is not used under normal conditions;
7. Is damaged by accessories or equipment connected to it.
Recommendation:
We recommend that both the installation and the maintenance of the
operator to be performed by an authorized PPA technical service.
If the product fails or has an improper operation, seek an Authorized
Technical Service to fix it.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES
ADVERTENCIA: Instrucciones de seguridad importantes. Siga todas las instrucciones
de este manual. Una instalación incorrecta puede provocar lesiones graves.
- No permita que los niños manipulen el mando a distancia del
equipo. Mantenga el control remoto fuera del alcance de los
niños, evitando aperturas innecesarias y, en consecuencia,
disminuyendo la seguridad del sitio;
- No active el automatismo, al menos cuando esté seguro de que no hay niños,
animales, objetos u obstáculos en el camino de la puerta o en sus proximidades;
- Desconecte la red eléctrica (fuente de alimentación) cuando realice una limpieza o
cualquier mantenimiento. El mantenimiento/instalación de los automatismo por un
técnico especializado en PPA es obligatorio;
- Examinar con frecuencia la instalación, sistema de seguridad, soportes (correcta
apertura y cierre). Realice una limpieza periódica. No realice reparaciones o adaptaciones
usted mismo. Busque un técnico especializado para realizar las reparaciones, ya que
una falla en la instalación o una reparación inadecuada puede causar lesiones al
usuario;
- Es muy importante esperar el final de carrera del movimiento del automatismo y
mantener alejadas a las personas hasta que la cadena esté completamente abierta o
cerrada;
- Si el cable de alimentación está dañado, solicite al técnico especializado su sustitución,
para evitar riesgos. El uso del conductor de tierra es obligatorio;
- Mantener el armario (cuerpo BC1) siempre cerrado, abriéndolo únicamente para
posibles operaciones de mantenimiento. El gabinete es la protección de todo el
sistema mecánico y electrónico.
- No dirija chorros de agua hacia el gabinete ya que puede dañar todo el equipo.
- Nunca utilice productos abrasivos para la limpieza, tales como: esponja de acero,
diluyente, solupan y otros solventes.
El interior del automatismo dispone de una etiqueta que identifica el modelo y
lote de fabricación del equipo.
ATENCIÓN
Compruebe siempre el estado de la etiqueta. Si la etiqueta se daña o es
ilegible, compre otra a un representante de PPA.
APAGADO DEL EQUIPO
IDENTIFICACIÓN DEL EQUIPO
Para el paro total del automatismo, es necesario utilizar un dispositivo de paro
que debe ir incorporado con los conductores fijos y ubicado cerca del automatismo.
Ejemplos de dispositivos de apagado total: Disyuntores, interruptor ON/OFF, etc

SISTEMA DE DESBLOQUEO
Cuando haya un corte de energía, libere la corriente del gabinete manualmente,
para que pueda reducirse hasta que se restablezca la energía.
Cuando se restablezca la energía, BC1 calibrará el movimiento. Para ello, siga
los procedimientos:
1. Activar BC1, a través de cualquiera de los dispositivos instalados.
2. BC1 se abrirá/cerrará lentamente.
3. Luego, el BC1 volverá a la velocidad normal en modo automático.
FORMAS DE ACTIVACIÓN
CENTRAL DE MANDO
La central electrónica permite la instalación de otros accesorios que añaden
funciones al automatismo y brindan mayor comodidad y seguridad al usuario:
FOTOCELULA:
Evita que una persona o vehículo sea pillado por sorpresa en el trayecto actual.
Al detectar una obstrucción en su línea de paso, la fotocélula (sensor infrarrojo
activo) impide el cierre o detiene el movimiento de cierre abriendo automáticamente
la cadena, evitando colisiones con personas, objetos, automóviles o animales.
Los accesorios descritos anteriormente son opcionales y no están incluidos
con el producto.
Se recomienda el uso de fotocélulas para aumentar la seguridad en la
operación del automatismo. Póngase en contacto con un representante o visite el
sitio web (www.ppa.com.br) para ver los modelos disponibles.
Desarrollado para controlar de manera rápida y efectiva el flujo, entrada y
salida de vehículos, en lugares tales como: estacionamientos y condominios así
como otros establecimientos comerciales y públicos.
ATENCIÓN
Las opciones que se describen a continuación varían según sus
necesidades específicas para cada entorno, definidas en el momento
de la compra y la instalación del producto.
Algunas de las formas de activación son:
- Lazo inductivo: Dispositivo instalado debajo del piso por donde pasan los
vehículos, cuya función es detectar la presencia de un cuerpo metálico (vehículo),
provocando automáticamente la apertura del BC1. Este dispositivo mantiene la
cadena abierta mientras el vehículo está en el lazo, evitando que se cierre sobre
el vehículo. La cadena se cierra automáticamente después de que el vehículo pasa
por el lazo.
- Dispositivo RF y mandos a distancia: Al pulsar un botón registrado de un
mando a distancia, se activa la apertura de corriente. Su cierre puede ser
automático o semiautomático. En modo semiautomático, se debe presionar
nuevamente el botón del control remoto para cerrar la cadena.
- Ojal: Generalmente se utiliza en lugares que cuentan con una caseta de
seguridad con mirador que controla el flujo, ingreso y salida de vehículos. Es un
dispositivo que, a través de un botón, acciona la apertura de la corriente.
PLAZO DE GARANTÍA
MOTOPPAR, Industria y Comercio de Automatizadores Ltda., registrada
con CNPJ (CIF) 52.605.821/0001-55, localizada en la Avenida Dr. Labieno da
Costa Machado número 3526, Distrito Industrial, Garça – SP – Brasil, Código
Postal 17.400-000, fabricante de los productos PPA, garantiza esto aparato
contra defectos de proyectos, fabricación, montaje y/o solidariamente en
consecuencia de vicios de calidad de material que se lo hagan impropio o
inadecuado al consumo a cual se destina por el plazo legal de noventa días
desde la fecha de adquisición, siempre que se cumplan las orientaciones de
instalación descritas en el manual de instrucciones.
Como consecuencia de la credibilidad y de la confianza depositada en los
productos PPA, añadimos al plazo anteriormente descrito más 275 días,
alcanzando el total de un año, igualmente contados desde que la fecha de
adquisición pueda ser comprobada por el consumidor a través do
comprobante de compra (Recibo).
En caso de defecto, en el período cubierto por la garantía, la
responsabilidad de PPA se queda restringida a la reparación o reemplazo del
aparato por ella fabricada, bajo las siguientes condiciones:
1. La reparación y reajuste de aparatos solo pueden realizarse por la
Asistencia Técnica de PPA, que está habilitada a abrir, remover, sustituir
piezas o componentes, así como arreglar los defectos cubiertos por la
garantía, siendo que el incumplimiento de este y cualquier utilización
de piezas no originales observadas en el uso, implicará en la exclusión
de la garantía por parte del consumidor;
2. La garantía no se extenderá a accesorios como cables, kit de tornillos,
soportes de fijación, fuentes de alimentación etc.;
3. Los costos de embalaje, transporte y reinstalación del producto son
responsabilidad exclusiva de los consumidores finales;
4. Se debe enviar el aparato directamente a la empresa responsable de la
venta (representante del fabricante), a través de la dirección que figura
en el recibo de compra, debidamente embalado, evitando así la
pérdida de la garantía;
5. En el período adicional de 275 días, las visitas y los transportes donde
no haya servicios autorizados serán cargadas. Los gastos de transporte
del aparato y/o técnico son responsabilidad del propietario y
6. La reparación o reemplazo del aparato no prorroga el plazo de
garantía.
Esta garantía perderá su validez si el producto:
1. Sufrir daños provocados por agentes de la naturaleza, como descargas
atmosféricas, inundaciones, incendios, desmoronamientos etc.;
2. Sea instalado en red eléctrica inadecuada o en desacuerdo con
cualquiera de las instrucciones de instalación descritas en el manual;
3. Presenta defectos causados por caídas, golpes o cualquier otro
accidente físico;
4. Presenta violación o intento de reparación o mantenimiento por parte
de personal no autorizado;
5. No sea usado para lo que ha sido proyectado;
6. No sea usado en condiciones normales;
7. Sufrir daños causados por accesorios o aparatos conectados al
producto.
Recomendación:
Recomendamos que la instalación y mantenimientos del aparato sean
efectuados por servicio técnico autorizado PPA.
Caso el producto presente defecto o funcionamiento anormal, busque un
Servicio Técnico especializado para los debidos arreglos.
