DETAILS
On 13” X-tend transitions the lower face can potentially have an inadequate seal,
especially at high angles which can lead to product leakage. To remedy this, we have
created a bolt on sealing plate that can be added in the position outlined below. This
will reduce the leakage and allow the X-tend to operate normally.
TOOLS REQUIRED:
➢ 2x Wrench, ½”
➢ 5/16” x 1 ¼” bolt x2
➢ 5/16” nylon lock nut x2
➢ Part # 201634

INSTALLATION:
Step 1: Extend hopper cylinder about ¾ of
the way to allow clearance for
installing plate.
Step 2: Slide part # 201634 into position
above the cylinder and line up holes
with transition as shown.
Step 3: Bolt plate onto transition with bolts
facing away from hopper. Make sure
plate mounts flush and does not
have debris between plate and
transition
Step 4: Test hopper movement, ensure
nothing is binding and that the plate
seals properly against the hopper
and transition.
