1) Microphone Input Level Control
Each microphone input has a corresponding level control. Adjustment in the clockwise direction will increase the level
of the microphone within the “main” or “master” mix.
2) Peak Indicator LED
To avoid distortion or overloading of the internal circuits the mixer features a PEAK indicator LED. Should the LED
illuminate either reduce the level of the MASTER volume or reduce the level of the microphone inputs.
3) Master Volume Control & On/Off Switch
The MASTER volume also features the On/Off control of the mixer. To switch the mixer on turn the MASTER in a
clockwise direction past the “click point”. To switch off turn the MASTER in an anti-clockwise direction past the “click
point”. To save power or prevent battery drain turn off the unit when not in use.
4) 9V DC Mains Input
The mixer can be powered either by a 9V PP3 battery or from an external 9V DC power source. If using an external
power adaptor (not supplied) please ensure this is of regulated type rated at 500mA. When using a 9V DC power
adaptor the PP3 battery should be removed.
5) Master Output
An unbalanced 6.35mm (¼”) mono line output suitable for connection to the AUX or LINE IN on most mixing
consoles, amplifiers and karaoke systems. TIP= positive (+ve), RING= negative (-ve) or ground.
6) Microphone Input
An unbalanced 6.35mm (¼”) mono microphone input suitable for use with most dynamic microphones.
7) Battery Compartment
Disconnect any power before opening the product. On the base of the unit the battery compartment is accessed by
removing one central Philips type screw. The battery used should be a good quality Alkaline cell (9V PP3 type). If the
mixer is not used for long periods of time the battery should be removed.
