Multi-slot Dock Ethernet
The Multi-slot Dock Ethernet paired with a Memor X3 mobile
computer builds a reading system for the collection, decoding
and transmission of barcode data.
The Multi-slot Dock Ethernet can charge up to four terminals
and provides Ethernet connection for data transfer via local area
networks.

MOBILE COMPUTER INSERTION/REMOVAL
For correct insertion into the dock, insert the Memor X3 from the
top of the dock and push it down.
To remove the mobile computer from the dock, pull it upwards
while holding the dock firmly down.

ETHERNET CONNECTION
The Multi-slot Dock Ethernet drivers are pre-installed on the
Memor X3 and initiate automatically when the terminal is placed
in a properly connected Multi-slot Dock Ethernet.
When the Memor X3 is inserted into the Multi-slot Dock Ether-
net, the connectivity icon on the taskbar indicates that the
mobile computer is connected to a network.
How to Connect
Connect the Ethernet dock (Ethernet port 1 - D) to an Ethernet
hub or to a port on the host device. Connect the Ethernet dock
(power port - B) to the power supply.
Note
The user is responsible for any damages caused by
incorrect use of the equipment or by inobservance
of the indication supplied in this manual.
Note
Do not attempt to disassemble the Multi-slot
Ethernet Dock, as it does not contain parts that can
be repaired by the user. Any tampering will
invalidate the warranty.

Daisychaining Ethernet Connection
To connect several docks to an Ethernet network, the Ethernet
docks may be daisychained. It is recommended not to connect
more than 4 docks in order to maintain the optimal baud rate.
Connect the first Ethernet dock to the Ethernet Switch. Connect
the additional docks as shown in figure below.
