Precautions for Wheel and Tire (GSX650FAK9)
B917H22400002
WARNING
!
Proper tire inflation pressure and loading are important factors to ensure riding safety.
Overloading can lead not only to tire damage but also to loss of control.
Under-inflation makes it difficult to turn a corner smoothly and results in premature wear of tires.
Over-inflation reduces tire’s area of road contact and thus results in skidding and loss of control.
Do not interchange tires between wheels on the same motorcycle.
Do not use tires of sizes and types different from the originally installed tires.
Rotation of tires or use of such different tires may adversely affect handling of the motorcycle and
can result in loss of control.
Replace the wheel if it is deformed or has cracks or scratches. Also replace the wheel if its runout
exceeds the service limit.
Replacement wheels must be equivalent to the originally installed wheels.
