lighting.
c. The nozzle and other accessible parts are very hot even after the flame has
gone out. Do not touch.
d. Do not expose the hot glue gun to heat more than 50°C or to sunlight for a
long time.
e. The hot glue gun is designed for private use in the hobby and craft area and
for brief durations and is not suitable for long-duration use. Switch off the hot
glue gun during breaks and after a maximum of half an hour of usage for
complete cooling by closing the gas supply regulator.

properly.
i. Do not disassemble or open the hot glue gun.
j. Do not make any modifications to the hot glue gun. The assembly and factory
settings should not be altered. – Only replacement parts recommended by the
manufacturer may be used. It can be dangerous to modify the settings or make
changes to the hot glue gun, to remove parts or to use replacement parts other
than those recommended by the manufacturer.
k. Repairs to the hot glue gun should only be carried out by the manufacturer or
by an authorised service centre.
l. Switch off the hot glue gun and place it in its stand during breaks and when not
in use.
m. Wait for one minute after refilling before lighting the hot glue gun.
n. Be careful when using the hot glue gun near flammable materials and
remember that heat can be conducted to concealed flammable materials.
o. Never leave the hot glue gun unattended when switched on.
p. Ensure that the flame is completely extinguished after use. Open the stand of
the hot glue gun and allow the hot glue gun to cool down completely on the
stand before putting it away. Otherwise there is risk of fire.
q. The filled gas tank contains flammable pressurised gas. Take care not to
heat the refillable gas tank. Do not expose the hot glue gun to temperatures
exceeding 50°C / 120°F or to prolonged sunlight. Otherwise there is risk of
bursting or explosion.

4. Before Use
Checking the product and scope of delivery
Take the hot glue gun and accessories out of the packaging
Check whether the delivery is complete (see chapter "Scope of delivery / parts list")
Check the hot glue gun and accessories for damages.
Do not use the hot glue gun if it is damaged or parts are missing. Contact the manufacturer

Place the nozzle of the gas canister against the gas refill valve (6) and press it in. Use a
suitable adapter if necessary.
Take the nozzle of the gas canister out of the refill valve of the device before the gas
begins to flow out.
Wait for at least a minute before igniting the gun for the first time to allow the gas to stabilise.
Insert a glue stick into the glue port (2) as shown.
09
Note! Risk of damage!

Push the gas supply regulator (4) upwards and turn it to the right using your thumb until the
valve is completely open.
Now press the piezo ignition (9) immediately.
Look through the inspection glass (11) to see if the hot glue gun has ignited successfully. If
yes, the heating chamber will be glowing red. The brightness may vary slightly depending
on the level of the gas in the tank and depending on the quality of the gas used.
DANGER! In case the hot glue gun does not ignite successfully after numerous five
attempts, close the gas supply regulator immediately to stop the gas flow and refer to the
"Troubleshooting" chapter.

Gluing applications
Before gluing
The surfaces to be glued must be clean, dry and free of grease. Clean the gluing surfaces
before applying the glue if necessary.
Polished or shiny surfaces should be roughened before gluing.
Insert a glue stick into the glue port as described above.
Press the trigger (7) to move the glue stick into the heating chamber.
Allow the heating chamber and the glue stick to heat up for 2 - 3 minutes until the glue
melts.
Press the trigger to apply glue to the gluing surface.
After gluing
After applying glue, bring the workpieces together and press them firmly.
Use a clamp or similar fixture if required.
The clamping fixture can be removed after about 5 minutes.
Allow any surplus glue to cool down completely and subsequently remove it with a knife.
Gluing
Note! Practice before you start working with the glue gun. Carry out trials
on waste material. The correct amount of glue and the feed rate for each
application depend on the size and properties of the materials you wish to
glue and can only be determined by carrying out trials.
6. After nishing work
Note! Risk of damage!
After completing the work, switch off the hot glue gun and press the
trigger repeatedly to completely use up any residue of the glue stick that
may be present, thus emptying the heating chamber.
Place the hot glue gun on the integrated stand and allow it to cool
completely.
11
Clean the hot glue gun before storage.
If the hot glue gun is not being used, keep it in a safe, cool, dry and well-ventilated place,
out of the reach of children.
Store the hot glue gun and accessories in its original packaging or similar suitable
packaging.
