1. Function Description
The visualization for WAGO Lighting Management an independent Web-based user
interface for operating and monitoring the virtual rooms of a Lighting Management
controller. With its responsive design, the visualization adapts to the resolution of all
devices, making it suitable for display on a PC, or for tablets, smartphones and WAGO
Touch Panels.
The visualization is easily opened through the browser. Simultaneous access to several
light management controllers from the visualization is also possible.
The visualization can be easily adapted to individual requirements. In addition to language
and color settings, HMI devices, users, rooms and custom profiles in particular can be
created and managed. Profiles make it possible to associate an individual user interface
with each HMI device or user.
The visualization and Lighting Management controller are synchronized in real time,
enabling current status and maintenance messages queries without delay.

2. System Requirements
PFC 200 Gen. 2
At least one controller on the network must be a 2nd generation PFC 200.
WAGO Lighting Management Visualization must run on that controller.
Details on Hardware and Software can be found in the corresponding sections.
PFC 200
For other controllers on the same network, it does not matter which PFC 200s are
used.

2.2. Software
To use WAGO Visualization Lighting Management , you need a Controller on which
WAGO Lighting Management ≥ V1.2.0 is installed. The Visualization runs exclusively on
2nd generation controllers and be activated with a license.
For 1st generation WAGO Lighting Management controllers to be able to provide data to
the Visualization, WAGO Lighting Management ≥ V1.2.0 must be installed there as well.
In addition, one of the following supported Web browsers must be installed on each HMI
device that WAGO Visualization Lighting Management will be used with:
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Apple Safari

2.3. Licensing the Application
The application is protected by license mechanisms. A license key is required for
productive use of the software without time restriction. The software can be used fully
without a license key for 30 days. This
trial period only includes the days of actual use. A prompt appears in the software with the
number of days remaining. Without a license key, the functionality is no longer available
after the trial period. One or more licenses may be needed, depending on the required
functional scope.
More detailed information on loading the licenses is available in the WAGO Lighting
Management manual.

3. Installation
3.1. Bridge Configuration
With the WBM plug-in "MQTT Bridge Builder" a secure MQTT connection between several
controllers can be established. The controllers are connected via this connection and
synchronize the MQTT database. This is called a bridge network. After successful setup,
these controllers are automatically added in the WAGO Lighting Management visualization
when the Controller section is opened and can then be controlled.
You open the WBM plug-in in the browser using the following IP address.
[IP of the controller]/wbm-ng/#/fieldbus/mqtt-bridge-builder/setup
For example: https://192.168.1.17/wbm-ng/#/fieldbus/mqtt-bridge-builder/setup
If the WBM plug-in "MQTT Bridge Builder" is enabled, this controller becomes the master
controller. This means that it can receive and process connections from client controllers.
Once the plug-in is disabled, all connections from client controllers are rejected and the
bridge network is disabled.
Note
WBM Firewall
For the master controller, port 8883 must be opened in the WBM Firewall to
receive secure requests from client controllers.
This port is automatically opened during installation. Data sent to this port is
only processed if the plug-in has been enabled.

Manual Configuration
Note
Use case
This step is only necessary if no HTTPS connection between the master
and client controller is possible.
Perform manual steps to create a connection.
1. create and download certificate on the master controller
2. import certificate on the client controller
3. generate configuration on the client controller
For more information, see the Manual Configuration section.

Note
Avoid loop connection
When two master controllers are mutually connected, the data is
exchanged in an endless loop.
In any case, avoid a two-way connection between two master controllers.
Plug-in enable / disable
When the plug-in is enabled, all necessary certificates and configurations for receiving
secure connections are generated. The plug-in only needs to be activated on the
master controller. Once the plug-in is disabled, all connections from client controllers
are denied and the bridge network is disabled.
The first activation of the plug-in may take several seconds as multiple certificates are
generated.
Quick Connection
Connections to other controllers can be established from the master controller, if they
are accessible via the network.
To do this, first enter the IP address of the client controller and click [Connect] to
perform a connection check.
MAC Address and date
If the client controller is reachable, the MAC address and time of the controller to
which the connection is to be established is displayed here.
If this is not available, there may be a problem with the network connection. The
bridge connection must then be established in the Manuel Configuration section.
WBM login data
Once it has been verified that the client controller is reachable, the login fields will be
displayed. Please enter the WBM access data for the admin user of the client
controller and click on [Setup]. If everything has been set up successfully, you will
find the new connection in the Connections section of the Incoming Connections. On
the client controller it is displayed in the Outgoing Connections section.
This step may take several seconds, as certificates are generated and transferred
Synchronize time
