With its high PCI bus speed, and high-quality audio specifications, you will never go wrong
with Sound Blaster PCI64. The onboard digital-to-analog (DAC) converter provides the lowest
noise and highest signal-to-noise ratio of any sound card in its class.
With two-, four-, and eight-megabyte wavetable sound sets, your Sound Blaster PCI64 allows
you to play music for games and multimedia software with excellent results! Sound Blaster
PCI64 sound sets support General MIDI, Roland GS with full sound effects and 10 drum kits,
and MT-32.
In addition, Sound Blaster PCI64 supports localized three-dimensional sound immersion in
headphone, two-speaker and four-speaker environments.
Sound Blaster PCI64 also supports multiple algorithm levels of reverb and chorus effects on
the wavetable sounds as well as spatial sound enhancement on MIDI and Wave sounds in two
speakers.
Sound Blaster PCI64’s compatibility with Sound Blaster is achieved through the standard PCI
bus, assuring hardware compatibility with the widest selection of PCI systems.

Full-duplex operation allows simultaneous audio recording and playback. Onboard
speakerphone connections provide high quality interconnection with standard modems.
Its use of the PCI bus and Plug and Play (PnP) technology helps to make the Sound Blaster
PCI64 one of the easiest to install. PCI cards can share valuable system interrupts, and in most
cases, Sound Blaster PCI64 can share the interrupt with your LPT port. This frees hardware
resources for other add-on peripherals.
