4. The camera drop cable can be routed either through the surface using the large holes in the frame,
or out through the end caps to be installed at the top or bottom of the frame. If routing the drop
cable through the surface, drill a hole through the surface at the upper or lower hole location in the
frame.
5. Position the camera bracket with the camera onto the raised screw holes in the frame, and then
secure it loosely with the screw or thumbscrew provided. Orient the bracket up or down as needed.

6. Route the camera drop cable to the ALI-NZ60 base station, and then plug it into the VIN1 connector.
7. Adjust the pan angle of the camera as needed. It can point up to ± 15˚ from perpendicular to
the wall. NOTE: This adjustment may need to be re-performed after viewing live video from the
camera.

8. Install the other bracket screw or thumbscrew and then tighten both until snug to hold the camera
bracket in position.
9. Install the upper end cap with two screws (provided). If the camera drop cable is routed out the top,
remove the knockout for the cable.

10. Reinstall the plastic measuring guide.
11. Install the lower end cap with two screws (provided). If the camera drop cable is routed out the
bottom, remove the knockout for the cable.
Configure the System
To perform the following steps, refer to the following documents available from your product vendor:
• ALIBI™ Tools Utility Installation and User Manual
• ALIBI™ IP Camera Firmware Version 5.3 (or later) User Manual
1. Refer to the ALIBI™ Tools Utility Installation and User Manual to do the following:
a. Install the Alibi Tools Utility on a computer connected to the same LAN as the device.
b. Use the Discover application to nd the device on the LAN.
c. Recongure the device network settings, if necessary. The default administrative username
is admin and password is undened. Create a Strong password for the device, and then
continue.
2. Use Microsoft Internet Explorer on a computer on the same network as the base station to log into
the device. Use the IP address of the device as the URL. The default administrative username is
admin and password is undened. Create a Strong password for the device, and then continue.
a. Create a new, strongly secure password for the device. A secure password improves the
overall security of the camera system.
b. Use the ALIBI™ IP Camera Firmware Version 5.3 User Manual to congure the device
as needed.
