4. Use “admin” as Username and Password.
5. Click Login.
The video wall layout is pulled from the multiviewer and
read into Fusion.
The Fusion project screen has four large icons:
Manage Users, Themes, Walls, and Tiles.
5. Click the Walls icon and click on Wall1in the drop-down
list.
The Wall Editor screen is shown for Wall1.
To make a simple change to the wall layout and push it back
to the multiviewer, carry out the following steps:
Make a visible change to the wall:
6. Click on a middle wall tile, to select it.
Tile Properties are shown on the right of the screen.
7. Change Tile Type to Analogue Clock.
The selected tile changes to a round clock face.
8. Click File > Save File to save this change.
Enable a Video Input Lost alarm:
9. Click Multiviewer > Input Alarms. A dialog is shown with tabs:
a) Input Tab: Set Selected Input to Input 1.
b) Alarm Tab: Scroll down the Selected Alarm selection box
and select Video Input Lost. Tick Alarm Enable.
c) Input Tab: Click Copy All.
Video Input Lost alarm is now enabled on all MV-800 inputs.
Click OK.
10. Click File > Save File to save this change.
Push the modified project to the multiviewer:
11. Click Project > Select Multiviewer.
Enter the IP address of the multiviewer.
12. Click Project > Push.
The modified project is pushed to the multiviewer.
The multiviewer adopts the new wall layout and the analogue clock
is shown on Output 1.
Provoking a Video Input Lost alarm warning:
13. Route an unconnected video source to a multiviewer input.
For example:
Make a destination–source routing on the router to route an
unconnected router input to Multiviewer Input 1.
When video loss is detected by the multiviewer:
a) A slow-flashing red rectangular border
appears on the video wall around the lost video input tile.
b) The alarm error may be seen in a Fusion window:
Expand the Network View Pane multiviewer item.
Right-click on the Input 1 item.
A Details text window shows status of Input 1.
Red text status message appears when
the Video Input Loss alarm is triggered.
This proves the MV-800 is sending out alarm status messages, which
Fusion is intercepting.
Repeat this for each MV-800.
This has exercised video on the monitor wall, setting up an alarm and network connection to/from the
Fusion software application. For more information, please see the MV-800 User Manual.
