HOB 400 S PRODUCT DESCRIPTION SHEET
DE AT
The glass ceramic surface rapidly heats pans on the
cooktop by vertical heat from the heating elements under
the cooktop. Heat does not spread horizontally so the
cooktop remains cool just a few centimetres from the
cooking zone.
•
To use the cooktop, turn the knob(s) anti-clockwise
and set it/them to the required power. To speed up
the heating time, turn the knob to the max. position
for some minutes and then set the knob to the
required setting.
• To turn the hob off, turn the knob(s) back to
position
“0”
.
• The cooktop is fitted with residual heat indicators.
These light up when the cooking zone reaches
temperatures above 60° and indicate that the zone is
hot and could cause burns. These indicators remain
alight after the cooking zones are switched off, and
turn off only when the zones are no longer hot
enough to be dangerous.
To save energy switch off the cooking zone a few
minutes before the food is cooked, the residual heat
will complete the cooking.
Important: To avoid permanently damaging the
glass-ceramic top, do not use:
- Pots with bottoms that are not perfectly flat.
- Metal pots with enamelled bottom.
