Disney Alice in Wonderland

Introduction

After 10 years, Alice has once again fallen into the mysterious, labyrinthine world

of Underland, only to find it torn to pieces by a beast known as the Jabberwocky.

Playing four famous characters from Lewis Carroll’s timeless novel - the Mad

Hatter, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat and the Caterpillar – only you can

help Alice fulfill her destiny by saving the underground world that the

Jabberwocky has torn asunder.

Getting Started

1. Make sure the POWER switch is OFF.

2. Insert the Disney Alice in Wonderland Game Card in the Nintendo DS™

slot.

3. Turn the POWER switch ON. Note: The Disney Alice in Wonderland Game

Card is designed for the Nintendo DS™ system.

4. Please read and accept the Health and Safety screen by touching the

bottom screen.

5. If the game does not automatically launch, select the Disney Alice in

Wonderland game icon from the DS launch screen.

Main Menu

When Alice enters Underland, she will be presented with a series of doors:

- Bonus Door: Access unlockable bonus content. Also, enter your

DGamer cheat code here.

- Play Door: Start a new game or load a previously saved game.

- Options Door: Change game options, such as sound and language.

Tap each door twice to enter.

Saving the game: To save your game progress, approach a mailbox with Alice

and tap on it with the stylus.

Touch Alice directly with the stylus to have her stop

or follow the player

Swap characters

Stylus (tap and hold the stylus on the character icon

on the right corner of the touch screen and move

your stylus onto the character’s icon)

Activate then use ability

Any button + stylus (touch the appropriate Heads Up

Display icon)

Top screen Map menu (place a

marker, go to the map

manipulation interface)

Stylus (tap the arrow next to the swap character icon

on the top right corner of the touch screen)

Navigating Underland

Underland has been torn apart by the Jabberwocky. It is up to you to help Alice

put the pieces back together again.

Discover map pieces as you progress through Underland.

When you collect a map piece, tap the arrow icon, then touch the lighted puzzle

piece icon to access the map manipulation mode.

Use your stylus to move the map pieces into place.

NOTE: Doors are your access to new levels; but you can’t go through if the next

map piece isn’t in place.

Underland Characters

Use your special powers to help Alice. Hold the L Button to toggle on the power

user interface.

The White Rabbit – Fast-forward, rewind or pause time using the Rabbit’s

special powers.

The Caterpillar – Use Absolem’s ability to reverse gravity by tapping the up or

down icon on the touch screen.

Mad Hatter – Change your perspective on the levels. Take Alice behind the

scenes to discover hidden doors by touching the highlighted Hatter icon, then

tapping the left icon.

Cheshire Cat – Find hidden objects, or make them vanish, by toggling either the

solid or transparent box icons respectively.

Hint: Use your special powers when an exclamation point (!) appears above your

character’s head.

Underland Villains

Powerful enemies will try to prevent Alice from fulfilling her destiny. Keep them

from dragging Alice into the red vortex.

Foot Soldier – Don’t underestimate these hand-to-hand brawlers.

Blood Red – Watch out for their wicked charging attacks.

Fortress – They may hide behind shields, but they’re not cowards.

Tank – What they lack in speed, they make up for in strength.

Bosses – You’ll need all your abilities and wits to defeat these Underworld

guardians.

Hint: Be quick. Once Alice is thrown into the portal, you only have a certain

amount of time before she disappears.

Collectibles

Each level contains a number of collectibles to help you on your mission.

Recharge – Discover life gauge recharges, special powers, special moves and

power recharges after destroying enemies or objects.

Chests – Many levels contain chests in which you will find special upgrades or

meter recharges.

Map pieces – Use your abilities to discover map pieces hidden throughout the

game.

Unique objects – Discover pieces of the Sacred Armor and the Vorpal Sword

that will help Alice fulfill her destiny. The pieces of armor are scattered

throughout Underland. The exact location of the sword will reveal itself in time.

Upgrades

Certain collectibles can upgrade your movement and fighting abilities.

vanish during a fight.

Take Alice by the

hand and run very

fast for a short

distance

Flatten red guards like a

sheet of paper!

Life Gauge:

Your life gauge can be seen in the upper left corner of your screen.

All characters share the same life gauge, which starts with 60 points.

When the life gauge reaches zero, your character will experience a period of

dizziness.

The game ends when enemies succeed in dragging Alice into a red vortex.
