Inside hull mounting of depth transducer
It is possible to mount the depth transducers inside the hull with the help of a
mounting kit (art nr 19038) that is sold by our dealers.
The demands on the hull to make the depth presentation accurate is as follows…
• Single laminate glasfiber hull
• The thickness of the hull must not exceed 20mm
To determine the best place to mount the depth transducer you can do a simple test
with the help of a plastic bag filled with some water.
Connect the depth transducer to the instrument as described in the manual. Put the
transducer inside the bag with water and push the transducer against the hull to see
if you get accurate readings on the instrument.
Note: You should try this were you know the actual depth. Try to find a place were it
is a bit deeper (5-10m) and were the bottom consists of mud or similar.
When you have found a good spot in your boat, follow the instructions on the next
page when mounting the pipe.
