Below is a detailed list of network ports that the Sarix camera platform uses on the network. This
information will be useful in situations when it is necessary to move video from the Sarix camera
through a firewall or other network protection methods.
NOTE: Please keep this information in mind when programming the camera for operation on a
public or private network.

Used to securely log-in and access the camera for
advanced support
80 TCP WWW
Used to view the web client and control the camera
161 UDP SNMP
Used to obtain network and diagnostic status from the
camera
389 TCP LDAP
Used for network and api access control
443 TCP HTTPS
Used for secure web client and control
554 TCP RTSP
Used by clients to start streaming video / audio from the
camera
799 UDP SYSLOG
Used for advanced debugging of the camera
1900, 2901 UDP UPNP
Used in discovery of the camera by UPNP clients
5353 UDP MDNS
Used in discovery of the camera by MDNS clients such as
bonjor and avahi
6700-6900 UDP RTCP
Used to keep the RTSP stream session alive by clients
