SGN-111
30watt per Channel Fixed Line Output Converter
Don’t cheat yourself out of all the performance your new radio or amplier can deliver. Proper audio line level
matching is critical when replacing your vehicle’s factory (OEM) radio or amplier. It can be the difference
between a great sounding system that you enjoy every day and a buggy, noisy mess that drives you crazy.
Stinger™ interfaces have been professionally designed for those who want the very best.
The SGN-111 can be used for adding ampliers to a system that does not have RCA outputs. The output level
is xed and level matching is achieved using the gain dials on the amplier. High quality audio transformers are
used to allow for the best possible audio quality and noise free signal to be passed to the new amplier. Input
signal to the SGN-111 is good for 30 watts per channel.
Speaker level input to RCA level output is the most commonly used conguration for the SGN-111.
Use this when you need to create RCA level outputs from a source that only has speaker level outputs.

Left/Right Audio Inputs: Connect to source unit speaker wire(s) making sure to match the polarity (+/-). The black
stripe is Negative(-). If you are adding an amp to power additional speakers or a subwoofer, then you’ll just "tap" into
the speaker wires to pick up the audio signal, and the existing speakers will continue to play audio. If adding a sub-
woofer and need only a Mono signal, join the Left & Right Negatives and Left & Right Positives on one speaker.
Audio Ground Output: The Brown wires are optional and should not be connected initially. If there is audio noise,
ground one or both of the Brown wires to eliminate minor noise.
