*Heater will activate when temparature drops below 5ºC and turn off when above 10ºC.
*Fan will activate when temparature is above 50ºC and turn off when drops under 45ºC.
Install the hardware and connect all cables
A. Hardware installation
a) Assembe sun shield and camera with the two supplied screws (M5*6L).
Note: Please move the sun shield to secure the first screw on the fourth scale.

b) Loosen back cover with supplied T25 wrench.
c) Unplug the seal at the bottom of the camera and plug the M12 waterproof
connector. Insert all cables (power cord/ DIDO/ video out) into the connector.
d) Connect the cables to the specific sockets on the back manual plate and tightly
secure waterproof connector.
e) Attach the desiccant bag to the back cover with the supplied foam tape, then
fasten the back cover accordingly. Recommend change desiccant bag everytime
the front/back cover is open.

f) Fix U-shape bracket to the bottom of camera with supplied screws.
g) Feed all cables through the front opening of the wall mount bracket.
h) Push the spring mortise of the wall mount bracket. Then hook the U-shape bracket
onto the groove of the former.
i) Secure the two screws of wall mont bracket on the other side.
B. Wall mounting and Ceiling mounting
a) Attached the alignment sticker to the wall. Drill four holes into the wall, three for
screws and one for cable. Then hammer the supplied plastic anchors into the screw
holes and secure the plate with supplied screws (T 1/4*32).

b) Hang the wall mount bracket on the plate and fix it with the supplied screw.
c) Adjust the angle of the wall mount bracket to aim the desired area.
C. Connect all cables
E1. Without Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection
1. Connect the power adaptor to the IP Camera.
2. Use a standard RJ-45 network cable and connect the IP Camera to a
hub/switch/router.

E2. Power over Ethernet (PoE)
1. Use a standard RJ-45 network cable and connect the IP Camera to a PoE-enabled
hub/switch/router.
E3. RJ45 waterproof connector
1. Make sure all components are assembled as shown on the below graph.
2. Check that the Ethernet Port and the Waterproof main body are tightly fasten.

Please go http://www.zavio.com/softwaredownloads.php download “Camera
Installation Tool”. And follow the installation process to complete the installation.

Access the IP Camera using Camera Installation Tool
1. Please check two settings before using Camera Installation Tool.
a. Browsers Internet Properties Security Default Level
b. Browsers Internet Properties Privacy Uncheck Pop-up Blocker

2. Click the Camera Installation Tool Icon on your desktop. The main page will show
up listing all active camera and video server devices. Select the desired IP
cameras from the list and click Link to IE.
3. Enter Username and Password to login to the IP Camera.
(Default is admin / admin)
4. When accessing the IP Camera for the first time, a yellow information bar appears
below the address bar: This website wants to install the following add-on:
AxvideoView.cab from Zavio Inc.

5. Click the information bar, and select Install ActiveX control.
6. Click Install
7. Live video will display in the center of your web browser.
MAC OS using Safari Browser
1. Select Safari Icon

2. Click Bonjour function and select the camera you wish to access.
3. Enter name and password to login to the IP camera.
(Default is admin / admin)

Lighting environment setting
Default setting for lighting environment is Auto. You may change exposure frequency to
50 or 60 Hz at Setting > Live View > Camera Setting > Image Setting.
Change the Web Interface into your preferred language
Before accessing the Setting page to change the language of the web interface, you
must download the language pack.
1. Go to http://www.zavio.com/downloads.php and download the language pack
corresponding to your IP camera model.
2. Go to the IP camera setting page and upload the preferred language from the
language pack downloaded from step 1.
Setting > System > Maintenance > Language > Upload
3. Once the upload is complete, the browser will automatically change the language.
