Sony M2000 is a Microcassette Transcriber that comes with various features aimed for ease of use, and effective transcribing. Some of the tasks that can be performed using this device are:

• Recording and playback: Sony M2000 can record and playback audio using a Microcassette. The cassettes used in the device are modern standard Microcassettes. You can make recordings up to 60 minutes on both sides of an MC-60 Microcassette at a tape speed of 2.4 cm/sec, or up to 120 minutes at a tape speed of 1.2 cm/sec. To protect a recording from accidental erasure, simply break off the cassette tabs.
