General Safety Guidelines
1. Read the user manual before operating any appliance or equipment
2. To prevent fire or shock hazard, DO NOT expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
3. To disconnect, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull by the cord.
4. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after a malfunction or if it is
dropped or damaged in any manner.
5. Before using check that the voltage power corresponds to the one shown on the appliance
nameplate.
6. Do not attempt to repair the unit in case of any malfunction. Immediately contact an
authorized service center.
7. Always keep the unit on a dry and flat surface.
8. Do not use any attachments other than the ones supplied by or specified by the
manufacturer.
9. Always unplug the Unit from the power source during lightning and thunderstorms or when
the unit is not used for a long period of time.
10. Never leave the unit unattended while in operation especially when close to children.
11. For household use only. Do not use the appliance for commercial purposes.
12. The appliance is for indoor use. Do not use outdoors.
13. Do not connect the equipment to an extension cord or multiple socket adaptor. Always
connect the unit to the main socket.
14. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or let it touch any hot
surfaces.
15. The unit can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Do
not use detergents or chemical cleaning
agents to clean the unit.
16. Never touch any appliance or equipment with wet or damp hands.
17. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Ensure that the fan is switched off
from the supply mains before removing the guard.
18. Do not take out the water tank when the unit is connected to the power source.
19. Do not insert or allow objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may damage
the product and could cause an electrical shock OF lire.
20. Do not operate the unit with
a
cover on it as this may result in overheating.
21. The plug must be removed from the electrical outlet when not operating and before moving,
installing, uninstalling and cleaning.
22. Do not add any chemical, metal ingredients into the water tank. These materials are
dangerous and may cause problems.
23. Babies, older people and people with health weaknesses should not be exposed directly to
the fan wind for a long time.
24. If your hands are wet, do not pull out the plug from the electrical outlet.
25. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduce physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
26. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
