Instructions manual for air cooler
Model: UAC-693
Read these instructions carefully and keep them for future reference
General Safety Guidelines
1. Read the user manual before operating any appliance or equipment
2. To prevent fire or shock hazard, DO NOT expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
3. To disconnect, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull by the cord.
4. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after a malfunction or if it is
dropped or damaged in any manner.
5. Before using check that the voltage power corresponds to the one shown on the appliance
nameplate.
6. Do not attempt to repair the unit in case of any malfunction. Immediately contact an
authorized service center.
7. Always keep the unit on a dry and flat surface.
8. Do not use any attachments other than the ones supplied by or specified by the
manufacturer.
9. Always unplug the Unit from the power source during lightning and thunderstorms or when
the unit is not used for a long period of time.
10. Never leave the unit unattended while in operation especially when close to children.
11. For household use only. Do not use the appliance for commercial purposes.
12. The appliance is for indoor use. Do not use outdoors.
13. Do not connect the equipment to an extension cord or multiple socket adaptor. Always
connect the unit to the main socket.
14. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or let it touch any hot
surfaces.
15. The unit can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Do
not use detergents or chemical cleaning
agents to clean the unit.
16. Never touch any appliance or equipment with wet or damp hands.
17. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Ensure that the fan is switched off
from the supply mains before removing the guard.
18. Do not take out the water tank when the unit is connected to the power source.
19. Do not insert or allow objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may damage
the product and could cause an electrical shock OF lire.
20. Do not operate the unit with
a
cover on it as this may result in overheating.
21. The plug must be removed from the electrical outlet when not operating and before moving,
installing, uninstalling and cleaning.
22. Do not add any chemical, metal ingredients into the water tank. These materials are
dangerous and may cause problems.
23. Babies, older people and people with health weaknesses should not be exposed directly to
the fan wind for a long time.
24. If your hands are wet, do not pull out the plug from the electrical outlet.
25. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduce physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
26. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
27. Do not pull the plug while the power is on. Always ensure that the plug is fully inserted into
the electrical outlet before operating.
28. Do not leave your unit under direct sunlight for a long time

ASSEMBLY OF THE AIR COOLER
Installation of the wheels: place the 4 available wheels to the holes located at the base of the air
cooler. Insert the wheels tightly to the air cooler's body (Fig.1)
Filling Water: Turn the water tank lock to horizontal position, pull out the water tank from the
bottom of the air cooler back and fill water into the water tank.
Pay attention to the water level indicator while filling with water.
The water level of the water tank must be less than "MAX".
The water level of the water tank must be more than "MIN".
Ice boxes (or ice) are put into the water tank when there is need for cooler wind.
Push the water tank back to its housing and turn the tank lock to the vertical position
Insert the plug to the electrical outlet. The LED indicator showing the room temperature lights with
a beep sound and the air cooler switches to the stand by position. The function of the unit can be
controlled via the onboard control panel or by remote control.
1. ON/OFF : Press the ON button on the control panel or press the ON/OFF button on the remote
control to turn the unit on. The unit will start at intermediate speed and then drop to slow speed.
To switch back to standby position, simply press the OFF button on control panel or press the
ON/OFF button on the remote control.
2. Speed: Wind speed can be adjusted to 3 levels (Low Medium High) by pressing the 'Speed'
button. Each time the 'Speed' button is pressed, the relative indication will appear on the LED
screen.
3. Timer: Press the 'Timer' button to set the operating time between 1-12 hours. The timer
switches the unit to standby after preset time. Each time the button is pressed, time is
increased by 1 hour and the time indicator lights on the screen.
To cancel the timer, simply press the button until the indicator shows 00
4. Swing: Press the 'Swing' button to change the wind direction. The swing indication will light
on the screen. Press the button again to stop the oscillation. The vertical direction of air flow
can be adjusted manually by directing the outlet louvers up and down.
5. Cooler: To activate the air cooler function, press the “Cooler” button. The water pump will take
water from the tank and pour it onto the cooling pad. The cooling pad with the assistance of the
water absorbs the incoming heat while the air is released with the help of fan. The cool breeze drops
the temperature and creates a relaxing cooling effect.
Caution: If the water Level is low or there is no water in the tank, do not activate the 'Cooler'
function. Check the water level and add water if needed. Replace standing water with fresh water.
It is recommended to replace water in the tank at least once in a week.
6. Ionizer: Press 'Ion' button to activate the ionizer function. Ion indication on the screen will
light and the negative ion release will start.
7. Remote control: The remote control operates with a CR2025 button cell. Before use,
please pull out the card which is inserted at the button of the remote control.
OPERATING THE WATER TANK
Check the level of water in the tank frequently. Be sure that the water level is not below the 'MIN'
marking which is located on the water lank. Activating the 'Cooler’ function with insufficient amount
of water may cause malfunction of the water
pump
and the warranty of your product will be void.
Before refilling with water, turn your unit to OFF position by pressing the switch located on the
back panel and unplug the power card.
USING THE ICE BOXES
In order to increase the cooling effect of your fan, you can use ice boxes which are supplied with the
unit. Before using, place them in the freezing compartment of your refrigerator for a few hours.
Then place them into the water tank and add water to the 'MAX’ level.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
After operation for a long time, the dust accumulated in the dust filter or cooling pad may influence
the inflow of air. Therefore, it is recommended to clean your fan regularly. Please follow
the
steps
below to clean your appliance.
Turn off the unit and unplug the power cord before cleaning and maintenance.
1. Dust Filter
To remove the dust filter, simply press the locks with both hands and pull it out. Use neutral
cleaning agent and brush to clean the dust and dirty on the filter. To attach the clean filter, place
the bottom of the filter first and then push upper part until it is placed tightly.
2. Cooling Pad
After removing the dust filter you can see the coolling pad. Gently pull out the pad. Use a clean or
soft brush to remove dust and dirt from the pad. Rinse with water if needed, and leave it to dry in
open air. Never use any chemical cleaning solution that can harm pad.
3. Water Tank
Turn the water tank lock to horizontal position and pull out the tank. Use soft cleaning agents for
cleaning. Wash with water, rinse and place it to its housing by pushing gently. Turn the lock to
vertical position.
4. Exterior Cleaning
Clean the exterior case of the fan with a soft damp cloth except control panel. Never use hard
cleaning agent that can harm the case. Make sure the unit is dry before operating it.
Caution: Never let water contact with the control panel. Always clean it with a soft dry cloth.

This symbol means that electrical and electronic equipment, at their end-of-life,
should be disposed of separately from your household waste. Please dispose of this
equipment at your local community waste collection/ recycling centre.
