Alarms and security intercoms panel : CASI
Wiring 49 directions with extensions 56 directions
INTRODUCTION
THE CASI is provided for localizing, memorizing and transmitting the alarms informations.
It provides communication with different terminals (BGPH, BGPHD, CPPH ...).
The alarm occurs by a glass break or automatic control, or another contact.
-An emergency exit signal could be diffuse on one or several security terminal.
-The CASI is delivered in accordance to:
-NFS 61950 French security, NFS 61950 Emergency exit signal, NFS 61950 Safety user.
-IT 248 Technical instruction, GH 50 High level building instruction..
-CEM French and European rules.

MAINS FUNCTIONS
Line control - Communication.
During calling, the line's led flash.
In short circuit case, the line's led flashes and the short circuit led lightes on.
In cut line case, the line's led flashes and the cut led lightes on.
An audible alarm on CASI rings.
To stop the ring, the operator selects the correspondent line.
The line led light on and the audible alarm stops.
NOTE:
If another calling alarm accurs during an etablished communication, the ring stays inactive, the only correspondent led
flashes.
The communication is set in simplex mode.
The operateur presses the "Talk" key for talking and depresses for listening.
REMARK:
After line selection, it is possible to etablish a communication with this line or send a call on a BGPH terminal (first in line or
standard) without broken the glass.
To return to initial state, select once more the line key (Depressing the key).
The communication is terminated.
NOTE:
The line's led flashes as long as the default will not be correct (Glass broken, short circuit, line cut.....).
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
Functions - Indications - Adjustements - Tests
Alarm's call
After selection of a line, the "alarm" key can be send an alarm's signal in accordance to NFS 32001 rules.
This alarm'signal could be send also via an "external alarm signal" (CASI's plug 74/75).
Call signal
After selection of a line, press "ring" key to send a call on the line.
Horn's output
A dry contact (CASI's plug 68/69 & 70) could be relayed the ring's information and command a horn for example.
The relay keeps its initial state, after alarm acknoledge's (The user's line select)..
Ring temporize's output
A dry contact (CASI's plug 71/72 & 73) could be relayed the ring's information after a delay timer (0 to 5 minuts will be
set on AMPLI A)
The relay keeps its initial state, after alarm acknoledge's (The user's line select).
General failure signal
The control panel transmit, total power supply failure indication (UPS and battery).
Its provides three informations:
º Dry contact signal(CASI's plug 53/54 & 55).
º Buzzer starting
º "OUT OFF WORKING"'s led lighting on.
This function will be save by three cadmium nickel batteries.
Working signal
The panel controls the power supply and battery.
It provides two imformations:
º Dry contact signal(CASI's plug 56/57 & 58).
º "POWER SUPPLY"'s led lightings on.
Power supply failure signal
The panel controls power supply (UPS) failure.
It provides two imformations:
º Dry contact signal(CASI's plug 59/60 & 61).
º "POWER SUPPLY FAILURE"'s led lightings on.
Battery failure signal
The panel controls battery failure.
º "BATTERY FAILURE"'s led lightings on.
Volume
The volume (Transmit/receive) could be adjust.
This adjustment will be made on AMPLI A's front ("VOLUME"'s potentiometer)
Led test
The "TEST / RAZ" key could be test the buzzer and all leds.
