of the automation. On account of this, all operations regarding connection to the mains electricity, as well as product

KS200KITcanbeoperatedusingakeyswitchwithcourtesylightorareleaseswitch.Whenthekeyisturnedfromverticalpsitionabout30°,twocon-

tactsareavailable:oneinclockwisedirection,andtheotherintheoppositedirection.Whenthekeyisturnedfurther(ineitherdirection)thehandlewill

open,andthereleasesystemwillfunction.

Themaximumstrokeofthecursorinsidethehandleis60mm.

INSTALLATION

3.1 - VERIFYING THE PRODUCT’S APPLICATION LIMITS

Beforeproceedingwiththeinstallation,carryoutthefollowingchecksandverifythe"Producttechnicalcharacteristics"(Paragraph3.2):

01. ChecktheoveralldimensionsoftheKS200KIT(g. 2).

02. Ensurethatalllimitations,conditionsandwarningsappearinginthismanualcanbefullyobserved.

• All installation operations must be made with the system disconnected from the power supply.

02. Openthereleasehandle90°(phase 02 - g. 3)

03. Loosentherelevantscrew(phase 03 - g. 3)

04. Disengagethespring(phase 04 - g. 3)

05. (phase 05 - g. 3)

– Placetheswitchagainstthewallandmarkthescrewholepositions

– Drillfourholesandxtheswitchtothewallusingthe4screwsandsuitabledowels

– Passthesteelwireasfarasthereleasesystemleaving20mmofwireoutsidethesheath

06. Gentlyremovethecover(A),putthereleasehandleinthepositionindicatedinthegureandloosenthegrubscrew(phase 06 - g. 3)

– Insertthesteelwireblockitinpositionwiththegrubscrew

– Adjustthewiretensionkeepinginmindthattheautomatismwillresultunblockedinthepresentposition

– Insertthespringinitshousingandreplacetheprotectionguard(B).Fixingitinpositionwiththescrews(C)

TESTING

CAUTION! – The system must be tested by skilled and qualied personnel, who is responsible for dening the tests adopted in rela-

tion to the risks present, and for ensuring observance of all legal provisions, standards and regulations, with particular reference to all

requirements of the EN 13241-1, EN 12445 and EN 12453 standards which denes the test methods for testing gate automations.

MAINTENANCE

Maintenance must be performed in strict observance of the safety provisions in this manual and according to current legislation and

standards.

Theautomation’sdevicesdonotrequirespecialmaintenance;howevertheyshouldbecheckedperiodically(atleasteverysixmonths)toensurecom-

pletetheirfullefciency.

Tothisaim,runallthetestsandchecksspeciedunderChapter6andconsultthemaintenanceplanoftherespectiveinstructionmanuals.

PRODUCT DISPOSAL

This product is an integral part of the automation and therefore must be disposed together with the latter.

Asininstallation,alsoattheendofproductlifetime,thedisassemblyandscrappingoperationsmustbeperformedbyqualiedpersonnel.

Thisproductismadeofvarioustypesofmaterials,someofwhichcanberecycledwhileothersmustbescrapped.Seekinformationontherecycling

anddisposalsystemsrequiredbylocalregulationsinyourareaforthisproductcategory.
