Installation Instruction

For Portable Lamp

WARNING:

 Risk of shock, do not plug in the unit before assembly is complete.

 Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating (100W max.) (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)

 Before you begin assembly of your new fixture, please follow the instruction manual step by step.

INSTRUCTION:

1. Place all parts on a smooth, flat surface to protect the finish until ready to install.

2. Plug the upper connector (C) into the lower connector (B) to join the cords.

3. Thread rods (D) onto base (A).

4. Thread rods (E) onto rods (D).

5. Use screws (H) and tool (F) to secure the socket assembly onto the top end of the rods (E).

If necessary gently pull the excess cord from bottom of tube (D). Take car not to twist or bind the cord.

6. Place the threaded ends of harp (I) through the holes of socket assembly and secure with nuts (G)

7. Align shade (J) onto harp (I) and secure with finials (K).

8. Install the Light Bulb in accordance with the lamp’s specifications (E26 medium base, A19 100W)

(DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!)

INPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety feature to

reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way.

If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug .If it still dose not fit, contact a qualified

electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter Plug.

2. This lamp uses foot ON/OFF switch.
