strong jolts, high humidity, moisture, ammable gases, vapours and
solvents.
Only use the product in a dry and dust-free environment.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of
operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can
no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from
a low height can damage the product.
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other
devices which are connected to the product.
Never open the product. It does not contain any components that
require maintenance from the user. Opening the product may result in
an electric shock. Return the product to customer services for repair
if it malfunctions.

e.g. on the housing, buttons or sockets, or if the product does not
work properly. If in doubt, send the product to a qualied technician
or customer services for inspection.
Before connecting a load, ensure that you pay attention to the
technical data, especially the maximum permitted switching capacity
of the relay and the type of the connected load. All load data refers
to ohmic loads! Do not load the device over the specied power limit.
Overloading may destroy the product or cause a re or electrical
accident.
The product must only be connected to an easily accessible mains
socket. The product must be disconnected from the mains in case
of danger.
For safety reasons, disconnect the product from the mains socket
during storms.
Never connect or disconnect the product if your hands are wet.

Only use the product with permanently installed mains sockets with
protective earth contacts. Do not plug the thermostat into power
strips or use extension cables.
Do not connect any devices to the thermostat that may cause a re or
other damage when left unattended (e.g. irons).
Unplug the device from the thermostat before making changes to the
device (e.g. changing a light bulb).
Always lay cables such that they do not constitute a hazard to people
and pets.
The product is not designed to be isolated. The load is not electrically
isolated from the mains.
The product is only isolated from the mains when it is unplugged from
the mains socket.
Never cover the product during use.
Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection
of the device.

Operation
If the warning sticker is not attached to the product, attach the sticker
for your language to the product.
Warning! Adapters must not be plugged into each other.
Devices with electronic power adapters (e.g. TVs or high-voltage LED
light bulbs) do not have ohmic loads. They can generate inrush currents
of over 100 A. Using these types of loads can cause the actuator to wear
out prematurely.
Place the remote temperature sensor in the desired location or secure it to the
measuring location, e.g. with a cable tie.
The temperature sensor is not designed for prolonged use in liquids!
Plug the product in a 230 V/AC mains socket with protective earth contacts and
connect the load (max. 16 A / 3680 W) to the socket on the product.
The thermostat will run a short self-test and then switch to automatic mode.
The current temperature on the sensor will be displayed.
a) Manual operation
Please note that pressing a button once will only turn on the display. The
product will only react to button commands when the screen is turned
on (i.e. when pressing the button for a second time). The display will turn
o automatically after a few seconds of inactivity.
If you wish to turn the load on and o manually, press the "+" and "" buttons
simultaneously to exit the automatic mode. "Manual" will appear on the display.
You can then turn the load on and o manually using the "On/O" button. The
switch status will be indicated on the display with "On" or "O".
You can switch back to the automatic mode by pressing the "+" or "" button.
"Auto" will appear on the display.
b) Selecting the operating mode
Heating mode:
If you wish to use the product in heating mode, the cut-o temperature must be
higher than the switch-on temperature.
Example: Switch-on temperature 15 °C, cut-o temperature 22 °C
15 °C (on) Heating 22 °C (o)
The heating device will be switched on if the temperature drops below the
switch-on temperature.
The heating device will be switched o if the temperature rises above the cut-
o temperature.
Cooling mode:
If you wish to use the product in cooling mode, the cut-o temperature must be
lower than the switch-on temperature.
Example: Switch-on temperature 22 °C, cut-o temperature 17 °C
17 °C (o) Cooling 22 °C (on)
The cooling device will be switched on if the temperature rises above the
switch-on temperature.
The cooling device will be switched o if the temperature drop below the
cut-o temperature.
c) Setting the switch-on and cut-o temperatures
In automatic mode, you must congure a switch-on and cut-o temperature.
The load will be switched on/o when these temperature thresholds are
reached.
Verify that the device is in automatic mode ("Auto" should appear on the
display).
Briey press the "On/O" button to access the switch-on temperature.
Enter the switch-on temperature using the "+" and "" buttons. Hold down the
corresponding button to scroll through the values quickly.
Briey press the "On/O" button again.
Enter the cut-o temperature using the "+" and "" buttons.
Briey press the "On/O" button again.
The product is now ready to use in automatic mode. The current temperature
on the sensor will be displayed, depending on the selected operating mode
("Heating" or "Cooling", refer to "b) Selecting the operating mode") and the
current switch status ("On"/"O").
Maintenance and cleaning
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions, as these could damage the housing or even impair the
functioning of the product.
Remove the product from the mains and the connected load before cleaning.
Do not immerse the product in water.
Under no circumstances should you service any of the components in the
interior of the product, therefore never open/dismantle it.
Only clean the product using a clean, soft, dry and lint-free cloth.
If the product is very dirty, the cloth can be dampened slightly with lukewarm
water. Ensure that no liquids get into the interior of the product.
Disposal
